The Beach House Restaurant

Great place. We went there for brunch but then 3 of us ended up sharing the seafood tower. One person had a chicken sandwich and an other had a French toasts with Nutella. Everyone enjoyed their food. The food was well executed with good presentation. They have happy hour specials so it adds a fun element to our visit. The restaurant itself is nice and bright. I can imagine it would be very nice to visit in the summer. The service is very friendly. We had a very happy waiter. They took the time to explain the seafood tower. How each element is prepared. The only complaint I would have is the cappuccino could be better. Besides that, we had a great time. Worth the visit but reserve if possible because I have the feeling it could be hard at times to get a table.

Excellent location with captivating scenery, and they offer a patio in the summer. They exude a strong West Coast vibe. Ordered two dishes, the beef carpaccio and the hamachi crudo; both were rich in flavor and really good.

I celebrated my birthday at Beach House in Dundarave, West Vancouver last night and it was very lovely! Welcomed with a personalized card and the nicest smile, Marianna also offered us a few seating options which allowed us to score the stunning sunset. Jose, our server provided impeccable service and great guidance. The calamari were delicious, the wine was divine, and half-off bottles on Wednesdays made the experience even better 😉 The portions were generous, especially since we order most of our food from the happy hour menu. The ambiance was warm and relaxed and even the washroom soap impressed me - though the cold water was a downside. Overall, a fantastic first-time dining experience!

I love the beautiful, clean environment. The food variety is so good, especially the seafood options. I had brunch here, and it’s a good idea to come early for seats because the restaurant fills up pretty quickly.

Our server was nice. She’s very attentive that made our experience more pleasant. I enjoyed only oysters since I didn’t like breads and cold cuts. We chose this place because it’s beautiful.

Had lovely birthday lunch for my mother on a slightly overcast day and it was wonderful. The caviar and seafood tower was delicious, didn't even has time to capture a picture of it.

1st timer. Tourist. Expect to spend 3+ hours here - highly recommend the brunch, they even have a discount on the food and wine/champagne.

The biscuits and honeycomb was a delight and a great biscuit to compare against the biscuits back home.
Poached eggs is the normal but you can have your eggs any way.
I ordered the sausage and bacon and eggs. The sausage was a little dry but still ate it.
Such a fun atmosphere to celebrate an occasion, any occasion.
The staff was very accommodating when our original tables were outside and the wind was too strong and frigid - they moved us inside.
Take a walk outside on the ocean and take some pictures.

I had the only Branzino that was as good as I had in Rome. I was absolutely delighted. I will order it every time. The vegetables with it were great as well.

Fantastic date night spot! Our waiter was very friendly. We sat outside on the patio, and although the restaurant was packed we were still able to have a conversation without raising our volume, which was nice. The chairs on the patio were very comfortable and we had a great view of the sunset. The Passion Fruit Margarita is tasty, especially if you aren’t fond of the taste of tequila. We ordered the calamari, kusshi oysters, the crab cake entree and the miso sea bass and it was all excellent.

First time at The Beach House, amazing patio, music was perfectly selected 👌 I really enjoyed my lunch today sitting on the sunny and warm patio. Ordered prawns and scallops spaghetti with pesto sauce. It was the best pesto sauce I have ever tried! Compliment to Chef👍
Finished with their absolutely delicious white chocolate creme brulee mmm just fantastic!

Laura, our server, undoubtedly surpassed all expectations, setting a new standard for exceptional service. From the moment we were seated, every member of the restaurant staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Laura's recommendations were nothing short of stellar, elevating our dining experience to unparalleled heights. From the delectable oysters to the mouthwatering lobster rolls, every dish served here is truly remarkable. While it is common to encounter friendly and welcoming staff at restaurants, Laura took the entire dining experience to a whole new level. She even took the time to enlighten us about the intricacies of their coffee brewing process and the various oyster varieties available. This remarkable team left us with no further desires or requests. If you seek an extraordinary dining experience accompanied by exceptional cuisine, this establishment is unequivocally the place to be. Although we were fortunate to enjoy an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean, it pales in comparison to the outstanding service provided by the staff.

The service has improved significantly, still a little room for improvement but really much better. They were more attentive and engaging.
There were also still some slip ups, forgotten items and requests and there was still a gap of time between check-ins
That being said, again, much better than the last visits

The food was wonderful and the heated patio was beautiful.

We will be back again and hope the momentum of rectifying issues continues.

Food options are limited, its really a seafood based earls. Service is often slow and orders have been wrong multiple visits. The view is amazing, but not our go to local place

came for my wife's birthday. The server said the seafood tower should be sufficient for us with 3 adults and 1 kid, and I agree that it should be sufficient for 3 people...but my family eats a lot of seafood. A lot. so I also ordered 2 clam chowders and fish&chips. The fish was halibut, so the price was reasonable. The best service I've experienced in the Vancouver area was a bonus.

What a fantastic service. Maddie was our waitress today and she was so wonderful and kind. She made our experience much more pleasant.
The food was not greasy like most brunches we’ve had in Vancouver. Although it was pretty basic in terms of presentation and details, it was good quality.
The patio is beautiful facing the ocean.
Parking can fit in about 4-6 cars, otherwise you’d need to park at Dundrave.

Our server was amazing! He even knelt down to the table to be at eye level to speak to us! Great drink selections! Told us he also bartended! So that was wonderful to have! Great personality and took care of my little sister, my best friend and I. Absolutely wonderful night from the whole crew! Oh and shout out to chef that night! My steak was to die for!!

Came for late night snack and desserts. The restaurant was very busy, we waited a long time for our food. The manager and our server kept checking on us and made our wait very pleasant. Fantastic services! Food was good too, love the yuzu calamari.

We've been to the Beach House both before and after the renovations. Great food and excellent service - the patio on a summer day is particularly nice, great views of the beach/ocean. Favourite dishes: the fish and chips (Haida Gwaii halibut), the fried calamari and the tuna tacos!

Definitely better than before! Made huge progress! But the honeycomb was too little it barely existed😂 you can charge higher price for a more generous portion or your guest will have a hard time finding their honeycomb when served.

Lovely vibe with beautiful seaview. Enjoyed the delicious food and discounted sparkling wine with Brunch offer during weekends and holidays. Potato pave is exceptionally good. Thinly sliced potatoes baked for an irresistible crispy texture, the layers are soft, the flavors are amazing. Will definitely come back.

one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The restaurant has an incredibly beautiful view over the sea and has very good food. we ate fish and chips, sandwich and steak there. All of them were delicious but I liked the fish and chips most. Highly recommend the restaurant. They have a good service and friendly and nice staff. A special thanks to Nick who showed us the whole restaurant and tried to book us a good seat. If I lived in Vancouver, I would definitely go there more often, but now I have to settle for once a Year.
