Have been going here a few years now. What an awesome bunch of people!
Always helpful with solid advice that insures clean cloths, which equals saving money.
New and well maintained "clean" machines and an overall clean environment.
Change machine for convenience and even have cameras for security.
Best laundromat I've ever frequented.

I brought area rugs along with other blankets and mats last week. Erin helped me load my heavy rugs etc and was VERY HELPFUL! I needed to get to work so she offered to put my two loads in the dryer. It was next level service!! I will be back to this laundromat!!

Quite possibly one of the nicest laundromats I've had the pleasure of visiting. Plenty of machines, inviting staff, and a clean and well kept interior make The Laundry Room the go to place for laundry in Calgary.

Machines that wash laundry.
Machines that dry laundry.

That being said, in today's world, things which seem obvious, far too often are not..
Things which should be very straightforward are backasswards

This place, this simple straightforward laundry mat is thankfully one of the few things left which are what you would assume it to be.

If you wish to wash, without the weirdness, and complications; consider this business as an option..

Its clean, well kept, machines are in good repair and a fair price.
4.00$ for a load to wash.
An extra 50¢ for heavy loads.
Dryers are fed by quarters..

I'd say I enjoy the experience of washing my laundry here, but realistically can you really?

My first time using this cute laundromat. It's clean, wonderful friendly and very helpful owners. Providing different size reasonable priced machines, that work. Lol. I look forward to the new addition of a machine I can put my weighted blanket in. Thank you

I have a 5x8 shag ruggable carpet that I wanted to wash. I called this laundry mat and found out they had the largest washers in Calgary. When I arrived the owner was kind enough to show me which washer to use (the triple) and also helped me load the machine. When it came time to dry, yes I did dry it for some time, the owner offered advice on stopping the dryer and adjusting the carpet so that the carpet could dry evenly and quicker.
We spoke about his machines and the work they were doing on the place, which is almost done.
Overall this was an amazing experience for me and I greatly appreciate his knowledge and help. I will go back whenever I am in need.

The simple fact its open late gives it 5 stars. Competitive rates for laundry and a nice atmosphere. Even has a decent vending machine. My only experience is after 7PM though I don't have an accurate account of what its like during ths day.

It's clean, has some new washers, triple loaders are a reasonable cost ($8), the dryers work really well and don't cost endless coins to get things dry

Nice laundry place and its open late. But be careful if you go late at night alone. We were the only ones there and we heard a banging noise from the dryer across the room that was empty. And later we left and came back and we saw a shadow by the chair in the front and then it moved near the entrance. Kinda creepy. We just ignored it and finished and left.

My washer broke in May of this year and I've been coming here ever since. Ive actually put off getting a new washer cause I like going here so much. Owners and staff are very friendly and the machines are always clean. Sadly I have to bite the bullet and get a new machine but delivery should take forever anyway so I'll be around lol .. btw thanks for the advice I received 😉 A&P were very helpful 👍🏾

This place is clean and friendly and is open late. I have yet to have any bad experience with them. The machine ate my money once I called the number and he helped me get the machine running instantly

Nice & professional owners that care about their costumes. Always willing to hear how to get better and convenient for the users.
Comfortable operating hours, have coin machine, laundry supply dispenser, different sizes of washers/dryers, clean and organized.

Been living in Calgary for over 5 years. Tried 3 other laundromats and this is what I’ve concluded of the Layton’s Laundromat

[Pros]
- Extremely clean machines (washers & dryers) with single, double & triple loaders
- Friendly owner (available on the premises from 9-6pm)
- Open early & closes late 7AM to 10 or 11PM
- Sink with water & table for folding clothes is available
- Change machine & dispensers (with detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener and garbage bag) available
- Parking is available

[Cons]
- Limited bathrooms (didn’t bother me much - can usually be in and out within an hour including drying)

I've used this laundromat on and off for over 5 years now and I thought it worth mentioning the improvements made in the last year and a half have been significant: regular cleaning of all surfaces and machines, additional new regular tub washers and well as large volume and flow-through machines, and recently I observed the owner doing a full vacuum cleaning of the duct work for the dryers and ever since it's taken took a quarter or two less on each dryer thanks to the improved airflow!

It's a bit of a pain in the old back to haul all that laundry to Layton's, but the life-time saved by getting it all done at once and with a better clean than my apartment's machines makes it worth it.

There's also delicious gelato and fine italian coffee next door to treat yourself!

We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Laundry Room washing bedding for a children's camp. The facility is bright and cheery (renovations in progress!), close proximity to a café for refreshments and the staff were extremely helpful. They have coins on site, many different sized washers/dryers to suit all needs and everything is extremely clean and well-organized. There are special hooks on the wall for folding large sheets and duvets. Thank you Laundry Room for all your support!

Great coin laundry. Very clean. Was in need of new update and the new owner is weeks away from completing it. Every time I go in there is something else changed. Staff is amazingly pleasant and knowledgeable. A bit more paint and all new flooring and in a few weeks it will be the trendiest laundromat in town. The owner is just so pleasant. Great place to do laundry.

Great facility. Clean, upkept. Very reasonable prices, dryers work

I have only been here a couple times so far as not pleased with where I was.
A bit of a drive but we’ll worth it.
Most Important to me is that it is clean!
Great variety in machines, Large and Small and cared for.
Renovations look super nice and appears almost done.
I have met a couple of the on-site staff (when there) and they have been delightful in offering any assistance.
