As a frequent traveler, I've had the opportunity to visit this airport multiple times over the years, and I'd like to share my comprehensive review based on various aspects of the airport.

Sofia Airport is conveniently located approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the city center. The accessibility is excellent, with various transportation options available, including taxis, buses, and a metro line that connects the airport to the city. This proximity makes it easy to reach the airport from Sofia or nearby areas.

The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, with Terminal 2 being the larger and more modern facility. Small but fast airport. It offers enough places to sit and several small restaurants. The food is good and prices are fair. I was here six times and always had good experiences.

Sofia International Airport is the best airport in Europe and my favorite airport in the world. The progress in quality of service that the airport has achieved in the past 10 years is amazing. The staff is super professional and efficient and does their job really well. I hope that the airport can keep the same rate of improvement in the years to come.

A lot of recent improvements bring definitely better and stronger passenger experience. Go in the same way Sof-Connect Team and with the planned infrastructural changes, desired recognition will come!

A nice airport with almost all the services needed for the passengers.

Nicely decorated after security checks. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and places where you can sit and get some work stuff done (comfy desks for laptops and sockets available).

Why is the Yettel store for the prepaid cards not tagged in the airport?
It's been a long time since I've met such good quality and cheap prepaid cards. The Yettel Employees are really nice, helpful and always understandable towards the arriving people and the people in need. They deserve more appreciation in my opinion!!!

Very nice and sumple airport. Need to stay overnight to get my next flight. I had no issues at all. My only struggle was to find a comfortable position in the benches because of the arm rests. It was impossible to have a nap :) but my stay was not that long to struggle with that.

My flight was in the morning and maybe that was the reason for poor organisation.
Not enough desks for drop off luggage, understaffed on the metal detectors...
All the rest was great.
Great place to relax, to chill, enough charging points, clean and tidy.

The airport provides a very fast and good service. Currently it is renovated (Terminal 2) and is comfortable and clean.

The Terminal 2 is nice, modern and clean (just the opposite than the T1). And also well connected to a metro station.

Lady on information was not interested for someone never fly... but I manage.

Check in great, young man told me everything, passport check fast, entering to plain also good...

Flew into Sofia 2020 pre Vaccination fill in later Tsarsko Selo Spar Hotel,Sofia, Bulgaria Fabulous, Jacuzzi daily & Swim & 4/5 Saunas free as we where hotel guests Turkish,Finnish,Aromatherapy,a wall ofCrystals, & infra Ray one came back Super Healthy ready for the English Winter before Vaccinations all rooms have proper Balcony’s & Table & Chairs outside a Fabulous Mountain daily & easy to walk into The Forest would go Again
