Vrana Park & Museum

Important historical place and the best park in Sofia. The palace itself is still under restoration but the royal chapel was open to the public. This place takes you back in time.

I love this place, we go for a walk there. This is a beautiful place that has the spirit of the old days, when the future of the country was still bright. The guy from the staff told us that maybe soon and the palace will be open for visitors.

The park is well kept. I like the fact that there is enough space for everyone in it. There's no any overcrowded feeling.
It does have a small parking lot upside so you can park your car without any concerns. And it's quite affordable 1lv for parking - daily.
There're several shops upfront so you can take some soft drinks and some snacks.
You have 5 lv entrance tax for the park itself.
It would make sense it there are several more benches spread throughout the park.
Otherwise it was just an amazing nature experience.

Very nice place. The palace itself is closed for renovations and I hope it opens soon. But the park and the gardens are pretty much awesome.

Maybe the best country park in Bulgaria. Big collection of old trees planted with passion. Unfortunately the buildings are not allowed to enter, but the surroundings are great. You shouldn't miss it if you like woodland walking.

Amazing Park, probably the best in Bulgaria yet so underdeveloped. It's a pity that access to the palace is not allowed

Try entering before 15:00, it closes at 16:00 but still you will have enough time, they don't close the exit at 4pm :) great for kids, asphalted alleys for skateboarding, 🛼 rollers, even playground, and quiet places to relax. Realistic compositions of trees on meadows, even can paint 🎨 as they are really close to the natural..

Very nice park, many rare trees. Looking forward to visiting the park in spring and summer. Apart from the park the castle also offers a nice view.

It's a nice place to visit, especially if you are a tourist. You will be able to see one of the royal castles and its garden. It is very calm and relaxing to stay there for a while - just to sit and enjoy the park. The entrance costs 5 leva (2.5 Euro)

One of the best if not the best park in Sofia and the rare chance to get close the Royal family of Bulgaria. Beautiful, graceful and unique.

The palace's garden is immense and very well taken care of with great variety of threes and flowers as Batenberg himself was a botanist. Great place for families with kids and couples. The palace's interior is currently being restored and is off limits.

It's a very good place to spend some time in weekends in quiet, or walking in nature.There is no any shops or something to buy anything, so be aware that you plan to spend more than one hour you must have atleast water . Shop you can find in the front of the park before tickets. Tickets are cheap.The place is beautiful, I recommend it.

Amazing park with lots of types of plants and trees. There we even trees with air-roots. It looked amazing! And we saw it in March,when almost everything wasn't green yet. The castle is great also, but it's still not open for the public. Maybe mid 2019 it will be.

Very beautiful and quiet place near the city. It's nice for a walk with kids. The Family ticket costs 8 BGN.

Enjoy a few hours on the edge of Sofia and walk in the lands once home to Zars! The Vrana park has a palace 🏰, gardens 🌹, ponds, fountains ⛲, forest and meadow.

Far from the noise of cars, with magnolias and Wisterias. A lily pond to keep you refreshed. The spring flowers are out at the moment and the trees are budding. Really relaxing garden.

My favorite park in Sofia. Open on weekends only. There are several guides and each of them tells a slightly different but very interesting story about the history of the park and the palace.
