Citadelpark

Nice park on central Gent. Well worth a trip. Things to keep the kids entertained and the part on whole seemed to be well kept.

Lots of spaces to take a seat or a picnic.

Really nice landscaped garden with pieces of art/architecture thrown like nuts in chocolate. If you are in Ghent especially in summer and want to get away from hustle bustle of the city center, this is the place for you.

I loved this park. It is a nice place to walk in the morning. I visited it during summer time and the roses were just espectacular. There is a botanic garden inside (larger than I actually though it would be) just adorable. It is worth spending an hour or so just walking around.

It was a nice walk in the park. I wish I can experience the atmosphere in the other seasons.

It is a good park for kids, runners and morning walks. It has a lot of open area and a small pond with a cute little waterfall. There are broad roads and hiking paths as well as picnic tables. It is free to enter and you can spend some good time here. Also very easy to get here by tram and a lot of parking space if you want to drive a car here.

Inside the park is also big congress centre (ICC).
