Bidon Coffee&Bicycle

Lovely coffee shop for our Sunday visit to Ghent. Bidon is a very neat, cozy, and relaxing place where to stop and have a warm drink. We enjoyed coming here. The quality of the beverages was very good and the interior of the coffee shop looks very nice with seats of all types and big windows.

We ordered one ham & cheese toast along with our order but one of the baristas accidentally counted it twice in the bill. She mentioned it to us immediately, was very polite about it and said we can have any pastry we want in return. When we went to do that, the other barista told us that because of price difference we can have 3 instead of 1.

In general very friendly staff and professional service! Atmosphere is quite nice and the sandwich and the pastries were delicious as well.

Absolutely love this place. The bike theme is very much present in a fun way. When sunny they put chairs and tables outside and you can enjoy your drinks in the sun next to the water. Staff has very little knowledge about the drinks they serve though, I asked two staff members what kind of beer one on the menu was and they both didn't know. The cakes look nice and home made. I would come back here.

Was recommended by an Airbnb host to visit here. I didn't try the coffee as old age means can't sleep at night. Tried the Green Bancha Tea, Soup of the day, and a ham and cheese sandwich. Costed me €14 in total which filled me right up. Friendly staff, nice ambience and very spacious. Good for meet ups with friends, or colleagues, or even for solos to do work. Nice chilled out music. Outside has construction work but I've been told they are digging up the canal again for the boats to run through again. Forgot to mention this place takes card only and no cash. Order at the till when ready. I would visit again when I visit Gent. A big thumbs up from me.

Came here to have a nice cup of coffee, liked it so much that we came back the next day for a cup of tea.

Cool place to have a coffee at, chill vibes. I order the cappuccino which was really good, comes with a biscuit as well :).

My favorite coffeeshop in town where it's heaven to sit at the big windows/on the patio to draw the passerbys, decor and stare in the abyss daydreaming. Great cappuccino and koffiekoeken make for a wonderful breakfast in the early morning sun.

Really good coffee!

What a cool café in Gent! I recommend this place to anyone who likes a good pour over coffee. They also put the coffee in a beaker for any of you science nerds!

Overall wonderful experience with great location and soothing ambience. Latte Macchiato was on the smaller side. Would love to try out the winter soup when we visit Gent next time.

Quiet Cafe with great canal views. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the bike theme. We just stayed for drinks, but had a pleasant time in this atmosphere.
