Odyssey Stays Mawlynnong

Located in the cleanest village of Asia, as expected the room was very clean. Also the bathroom was very very clean. The host was such a great guy, he helped us with planning the rest of the itinerary.
The room was basic but that's how a homestay is expected to be. But undoubtedly the cleanest place I have ever seen. The sound from other cottages were very loud since it's made from bamboo so that was the only thing that bothered . Rest it's 10/10. It just felt like home. If you wanna experience a typical village stay then must go.

Had a pleasant stay over there. The property is located just beside the entrance of the village. The room is small but neat and clean. No issue with the bathroom. They provide mosquito nets as well. Power cut is very common here and someone may find it difficult to charge electronic devices because of this. If you don't expect luxury, this place is for you.

The stay in Mawlynnong village was very comfortable.The room was clean,spacious and had all the basic facilities.Host and his family were very helpful providing good service and guidance related to sightseeing.

I have stayed at mawlynnong recently. I must say my stay was beautiful and the people around made it even more comfortable. Will definitely recommend this place.In the homestay they made sure room is clean and had all the facilities

Very neat, clean and comfortable stay. I had the best chicken here, very juicy and perfectly spicy. This place is surrounded by lush green forest and the host is super helpful, responsive and will ensure that you the best experience.

If you are looking for a stay surrounded by nature and away from city chores, this is the place to stay for 1 night.

Very good experience. Car parking is available. Hosts are very good person. Rooms are very neat and clean.

It was a pleasant stay over there. Rooms were clean and it's just 50 meters from the new parking lot and entrance of the village. Value for money.

The perfect place to enjoy a traditional Khasi style.
Why I am giving 5 star?
1. Host: He was friendly and welcomed us in his best capacity.
2. Homestay: Don't compare it with 5 star as the purpose of Homestay is to spend time in traditional way. So again goes 5 star for the stay as we enjoyed Khasi food and stay.
3. Mawlynong: Indeed it was a clean village (Indian pride). Staying here was possible only because of Kharmawsun Stay.

Its position is at the entrance to the village. The rooms are small but well decorated. We booked 2 rooms. There is no food facility, there is a hotel right next to it.

A very nice room and village. The room was clean and pleasant and the host family was friendly and helpful.

However, please note that most shops and restaurants close on Sundays in the village.

Really hospitable people. Nice and beautiful stay. Vintage from outside and modern from inside. Solar powered backup was really nice to see. Surrounded by flora and fauna.

The best homestay with kind heart people. the guide and his family took care of us so nicely with best guidance and hospitality
