Loved stay and owner is friendly. Stay is safe as it's within village. All basic needs are met. They have steam boiler available we had maggie with us we could just cook and have that as bf , dinner. Food is provided but we preferred maggie.

Also there is off beat view point available near by which has amazing sunset view. Nohwet view point. Don't miss it.

Indeed , an awesome place to visit . The rooms are clean and big , staff are well behaved and served delicious food at a very reasonable price.

Extremely hospitable, gracious, knowledgeable and humble hosts. They treated me and my friend like family. They took care of everything we wished or asked for. I had been in Meghalaya for the past 4 days and had not found local traditional foods most places offered bengali thalis. These guys made sure we tasted their local traditional food in that 1 night we stayed with them. The host Babok took us to show this nowhet viewpoint which is this amazing place I HD not heard of, it's a hidden gem, a huge bamboo patio built on top of trees overlooking the cliffs and on a day when it has rained you can see at least 15 waterfalls all thru the mountains from that platform. The other host Sanjiv was super knowledgeable about the history geography and all places of interest in meghalaya. He was very well aware of teh culture and all the hidden gems in meghalaya one ought to see or experience. I highly recommend these guys for your next trip to meghalaya, they will make you feel at home and take care of you.

Superb homestay in the village of Nohwet. The village is pristine unlike Mawlinglong which is more like Walt Disney set. People are friendly and the root bridge is just a 10 minutes hike. Coming to the homestay, rooms are spacious, clean and with all facilities. Food is good, but simple village food. Strongly recommend if you want to spend a couple of days far from the madding crowd in the midst of nature.

I went to visit Nohwet view point with my friends from delhi , but due to some unforeseen events could not find a homestay nearby , luckily the guy at the view point shared the host number. I stayed for a night there and gosh , it was awesome ! The host was very helpful and ensures your stay becomes comfortable. If anyone is looking for a good homestay with an exceptional host . I would recommend this homestay.

Host is very helpful and humble. Best part is location as Living Root Bridge is just walking distance from here.

It is a hospitable place, with good service and clean arrangements. Breakfast was roti sabzi and chai. Dinner was 150 pp, and tasty. Overall a good place with value for money.

Great service from Bhabok. Had a really nice time and dinner. Walk at night through the village is serene.
