Bholaganj Sada Pathor is one of the best place for tourism in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Beautiful place to enjoy. White stone is the main attractive part of this place. Indian sight view also here is the attractive part. You can take bath here for more enjoyment. But should be kept in mind that white stones are very slippery & dangerous. Please be careful. Enjoyable place. I wanna go more and more. Recommended to visit this beautiful place. Liked it so much.

Another beautiful place to visit in Bangladesh. As if the Almighty has painted this place buy His own hands. Scenic mountains of Meghalaya in the background, crystal clear waters flowing down the waterfalls and the rock bed makes it one of best places I've ever visited. Best time to visit would be June and July, the start of rainy season. Try to avoid weekends and public holidays..A delightful natural tourist spot, which is both friends and family friendly. Even on a very sunny humid day, the water here is so cool and transparent.

Just make sure to bring rubber sandals otherwise, your barefoot might get hurt in rocks. This place is very beautiful. Sylhet is an ideal place for travel loving people. Every day many people come to visit here. An unbelievably beautiful place in nature. In fact, you will not understand if you do not come to this place, the nature is so beautiful. The place has trees, mountains, white rocks, boat trips and bathing etc.

Sadapathor, even a word describing it would not do justice to this place. Rather i am gonna tell you how you are gonna see the boats sailing through the indian channel, the mountains of assam standing long high though not with pride. Just go there my friend, you'll experience what life really is.

It is 33 km away to the north from Sylhet city. Bholaganj is the largest stone quarry in Bangladesh and filled with hills, rivers, waterfalls and quarries. River Dholai just entered at Bangladesh through this place. The Meghalayan clouds, waterfalls from hills and the sandy shores of the Dholai, ceaseless streams and transparent water of the river are the main attractions that draw tourists to this place. Tourist can get the most beautiful view during its rainy season.

Different people with different activities can be seen here. The workers around the river collect the stones from the river with buckets, carry the stones and use the long boats. Its just a awesome place.

Bholagonj is one of the most favourite toursit destinations in Bangladesh. The transportation facility is excellent there. I once took the bus which starts from Amborkhana, back in 2022. Then the price was probably around 60 tk. This year in 2024 i took a bike ride. It was a lovely ride though the amount of dust was too much. One addition which great disappointed me was the “bed” along with the spring water. It not only ruins the view but also looks very mismatched.

Awesome experience, loved the place... very picturesque also you can see India's Shillong, Cherrapunji and Meghalaya from there.
I suggest going there in the afternoon so you can also see the view when the lights of the houses at India's border areas hills goes on and shines like many stars together.

An amazing tourist spot very close to India border. You need to take a boat ride to go the actual places. The senario is amazing. Lot of stone in everywhere. Good place to take bath in cold and fresh water.

‘Sada Pathor’ means white stone in Bangla. Here, the entire area is covered with white stones, which is why people now refer to it as Sada Pathor. Today, it has become a highly popular tourist spot in Sylhet, situated in Bholaganj within the Companiganj upazila of Sylhet, near the northern border of Bangladesh.

How to go - Apart from the local buses, two new bus services have now taken to the streets: BRTC’s double-decker bus and ‘Sada Pathor tourist transport’. There are also CNG-operated auto rickshaws. CNG-operated auto-rickshaw station is at Amberkhana point, Sylhet. Up to ‘10 number area’ of Bholaganj, the CNG fare per person is Tk. 120. The bus-stop is located in Mazumdari, approximately two hundred yards north from Amberkhana. From Mazumdari to Zero Point near ‘Sada Pathor’, BRTC double-decker bus fare is Tk. 60 and tourist bus ‘Sada Pathor Transport’ fare is Tk. 70. You can also board a local bus at Mazumdari for Bholaganj Point, then can reach the ‘10 number area’ boat-ghat by a rickshaw or tomtom. However, local mini-buses are very small and old.

From Bholaganj ‘10 number boat-ghat’, you have to board on a boat to reach the ‘Sada Pathor’. These are small and wooden motor-boats. In 10 number boat ghat, you will see many boats are lined up. Each boat can carry up to 10 passengers. The fare of a whole boat rent is tk. 800 for both way.

It is one of the beautiful place to visit in Sylhet. It takes around 10 minutes by boat to reach from the boat station. While we visit there it took 800 for up & down. Sailors are very friendly. They will drop in the dropping place & will pick u up while u finish u r work. It’s surround by beautiful mountain. Water is too good & while we travel there water temperature was very low. While we are bathing there were rain & suddenly water is flowing very roughly. I found the day very pleasant over there & I’ll travel again.

Key facts:
1. Around 30 KM from Sylhet airport
2. U can go by CNG or u r personal vehicle
3. Huge space for parking
4. 800 Taka up & down
5. There is locker system available on sada pathor area. It take 100 taka for unlimited hour
6. Price of Indian goods are high as compare to boat terminal
7. There is space for changing for room (ladies)

Sylhet, Bangladesh, is a treasure trove of natural beauty that genuinely seems like a masterpiece crafted by the Almighty's hands. Nestled against the backdrop of Meghalaya's scenic mountains, this destination offers a breathtaking panorama that words and photographs can hardly do justice to. The crystal-clear waters flow gracefully down majestic waterfalls, cascading over the rock bed, creating an enchanting sight that leaves you in awe.

Having had the privilege to visit this captivating spot, I can confidently say it ranks among the best places I've ever been to. The sheer magnificence of the place, where mountains and clouds meet harmoniously, needs to be experienced in person to be fully appreciated. No camera can capture the essence of this pristine nature, and you'll find yourself entranced by the authenticity of the surroundings.

I recommend planning your visit during winter when the water level is lower and the waters become a mesmerizing crystal-clear hue. It's a time when you can fully immerse yourself in the beauty of this spot and find true solace for your mind and soul. The place is well-equipped for visitors, with clean changing rooms for both men and women, ample parking space, and public toilets available.

For those seeking adventure, you can take a boat ride, swim, and capture underwater wonders that will leave you spellbound. While boat fares may seem slightly expensive for solo travelers, the experience is worth every penny. Just ensure you inquire about prices beforehand to avoid surprises.

As you explore this wonderland, bringing comfortable walking shoes is essential, as the sandy and watery terrain may make them a little worse for wear. However, the experience is undoubtedly worth it. The Shada Pathor Lake area offers seating and water facilities, allowing you to take a moment to relax and absorb the captivating beauty around you.

You should exercise caution when walking near underwater stones, as they may be covered in moss. Safety should always be a priority while enjoying the marvels of nature.

In conclusion, Sylhet, Bangladesh, is a place that will captivate your senses and leave you yearning for more. It's a true testament to the wonders of nature and an experience that will stay etched in your memory forever. So, put down your camera after capturing a few cherished moments and immerse yourself in the pure joy of this stunning paradise. A visit to Sylhet will undoubtedly be an unforgettable journey into the heart of nature's unparalleled beauty.

About 1 hour journey from the city center; then 30 mins journey by engine boat and 10-15 min walk near to the spot. Basically a stone bed made of huge amount of white colored stone brings by the streams from meghalay hills. Now-a-days best tourist/holiday extraction for good road condition, near to city, less hassle then others spots, scenic beauty and cold, clear and refreshing stream water to seat and bath in. Amenities need to be improved...and large crowd must be maintain/avoid by the authority. During rainy season, the outlook, activity and access changed due to large amount of rain water from the hills.
