Service was very good at sohra house. Very attentive and friendly staff. Particular thanks to liking and buddhi. The food was delicious and the best ever..the resort was beautiful and the ambience was great. The view of seven sister from the balcony was good. Looking forward to visit again soon

My recent stay at the Polo Orchid resort in Cherrapunji was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, the panoramic views from the resort were simply mesmerizing. Waking up to the sight of rolling hills and lush greenery was a treat for the senses.

One of the highlights was undoubtedly the culinary experience. The food was not just a meal; it was a journey through Assam's rich and diverse flavors.
The resort also offered a plethora of recreational activities, catering to both relaxation and adventure seekers. Whether it was a peaceful nature walk, engaging in outdoor sports, or simply unwinding by the pool, there was something for everyone.

The staff's hospitality added an extra layer of warmth to the entire stay. Courteous and attentive, they were always ready to assist, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The attention to detail in service, combined with the natural beauty surrounding the resort, made it a memorable escape. A great resort to stay at Cherrapunji. Amazing location with good amenities & great view! We went during summer time & the seven sister waterfalls were largely dried, but I could only imagine the view during/ post monsoons!
The food served in their restaurant Sohra house was pretty amazing. The live singing during the evenings was fantastic, great singers!
Overall service and our stay experience were great. Definitely recommended.

However, please note : they don't provide hot water in the cottage area pools and plunge pools in the lounge huts, making that largely unusable due to the cold weather (during winters it would be 100% unusable). So you end up paying for them but can't use it

I had gone for a breakfast and I had a wonderful experience. Specially Banri and Firstborn had taken great care of us, they were so kind and polite and very well trained. I love the view, the food, the hospitality and everything about this resort. Banri’s hospitality was exemplary.

Great place to stay with a view of 7 sisters' waterfall. Service is very good. Loved the live music at dinner time by Tynraibor and his team. The food is good. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

We stayed 3 days at Sohra, and our stay was very memorable.

The Sunday bonfire, live dinner music was an excellent opportunity to meet other guests and exchange experiences.

The staff are super friendly and went out of the way to help. It was the simple things that mattered, like asking if we needed anything every evening.

The food was superb, with good inputs from the friendly staff. A stay that we would like to repeat soon.

The view from the room was outstanding. Pool overlooks the cliff. Unbeatable location and good use of the landscape.

It's family holiday, food was excellent, room and seven sisters view were amazing. From Recreation team Albert and Tynrai was excellent singer. Mr Pawan Singh Manager were briefed about sightseeing nicely.We recommend this resort to our friends.

The property is beautiful as is its location. You can see a beautiful sunrise from your room. I would love to visit again as we stayed there for a little more than 12 hours. The breakfast buffet was decent but the live counter had several options.

We went there in late October and had an awesome stay over there. The location is the absolute best one can have. They are lucky to get this location. If you omit the location, then the price will make you think twice about the place. The resort is way overpriced I believe without the location. No complain regarding the management and operations. Only bad thing that happened to us during swimming. They only allow certain swimming costumes to wear. We had our swimming costume with us which we used at various 5 star hotels but they didn't allow them, we had to buy costume from them. Other than this, experience everything was perfect. Recommended.

The views of the seven sisters falls and the distant plains of Bangladesh were to die for. The staff were nice and polite. The hotel had a nice area where you could play indoor games such as table tennis, foosball, pool etc. You can also drink high tea there at 5. The spa is overpriced but very good. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and it had a lot of options and the dinner plan was generous but limited. Overall a great resort😀

Stopped in for Lunch and had a great meal. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations by Chef Bakshi. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious as were cocktail recommendations.

You will get a warm welcome with a welcome juice.
After doing the formalities, you will go to your room, from there you can view the beautiful seven sisters-fall and the other mountains. In the room, you will get complementary snaks , tea pouchs of different flavours, coffee, sugar, powder milk,etc.
Then dining area is also very beautiful you can enjoy the mountain view with your lunch/breakfast.
There's a swimming pool you have to own a swimming costume to use it.
During check out they will provide you a bag with snacks and refreshments items. Overall the experience I got was very good.

We stayed here and had awesome experience with the view of seven sister waterfalls. We also went to a nice trek with Mr. Pawan Singh who showed hidden gem of places waterfalls, Mot pollong view point of Bangladesh.

Amazing people with amazing staff , lovely ambience with beautiful views all around , food was so delicious, I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this place. They offer the best of food that is absolutely clean and hygienic and also their staff is really polite and soft-spoken. especially a guy named Augustine he was very humble and helpful, we loved his service .

We stayed in Polo Orchid at their rain forest suite, the rooms were amazing with all the amenities and were very spacious. Our suite even had a private jacuzzi.

I want to call out Anthony, who took care of us in dining hall very well every day. The evenings were filled with live music who has amazing voice. The accommodating nature of the staff stood out, as they were always available to assist with inquiries and special requests, Special thanks to Pradeep and Dari who doesn't hesitate on going the extra mile to make me feel at home. The resort's spa facilities were top-notch, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, enhancing my overall sense of well-being. Polo Orchid Resort surpassed my expectations with its views, hospitality, cuisine, entertainment, staff, and spa. I left with unforgettable memories and a longing to return, highly recommending it for a remarkable and rejuvenating getaway in nature's embrace.

Visiting sohra was a memorable trip with lush of valleys around the scenario that find so pleasant and well Its very good here even the service its nice ,and the place is damn good. Our meal has served by Augustine is great and tremendous and kind too☺

The House-Keeping have readied our Room & decorated the Bed with Plant & Rose Flower petals with writing "Love you Grand Pa & Ma" since our grand child is putting up with us. Very this thoughtful.

The resort is on the edge of a cliff with stunning views, almost all kinds of activities available,be it cycling, gym and many indore games. You can walk through the property of the hotel for hours.
There's an infinity pool just at the edge of the mountain.
The rooms are well heated.
Foods are bit on expensive side but you won't regret it.
