This is the eldest route of south part of Bangla. As usual service, no upgrades happen but old it gold. This route connected the southern part to the capital. Still it is used by many people and you may really enjoy the scenic bauty of padma here.

This ferry have a very important role on the development of both sides economy,agriculture, industries and so on. But the mismanagement of the stuffs & misuse of political power rate this very low. The food of roadside restaurant is so expensive. Passengers should have careful about pickpocketers,snatchers & third gender people.
Government should have more careful & take initiative to smooth the crossing here.

It was my first journey by ferry on Dhaka to Faridpur way. Its really amazing time, lots of vehicle on ferry. River was calm. Ferry fare around 500 tk.
