Paturia ferry ghat was of the busiest ghat in Bangladesh. But after the Padma bridge it is now jam free. Though Padma channel here is now not so deep and sans island here and there it is dangerous place for now ferries and Launches. Recently two ferry accident happens in paturia Douladia ghat. All the Southest bus uses the ghat still now. 2nd Padma Bridge is now demanded here.

In us, there is a river of feelings, in which every drop of water is a different feeling, and each feeling relies on all the others for its existence. To observe it, we just sit on the bank of the river and identify each feeling as it surfaces, flows by, and disappears.

Used to be one of the busiest ferry terminals in Bangladesh. But, after the inauguration of the Padma bridge, the traffic is much less compared to the previous times. However, during the weekends, people have to wait for more than one hour in queue to get on the ferry.

Paturia Ferry Ghat connects with the Daulatdia Ferry Ghat. These two Ferry Ghats actually connect between two parts of the country - Eastern part Dhaka - Manikganj with the Western - Faridpur, Rajbari, Magura, Kushtia, Jashore and many more districts. Newly inaugurated the Padma bridge is now playing very important roles in communication but Paturia-Daulatdia ferry services is still playing unavoidable roles in roads communication.

Paturia ferry ghat is usually crowded but I find it quite free this time. If you are looking for public toilet you will find many. But those toilets are not properly maintained, and not that neat at the same time

This is one of the two very busy Ferry services in Bangladesh. The transports mainly travelling toward south-west side of Bangladesh need to Cross the mighty Padma ( The Ganges river takes this name when come into Bangladesh). The ferry service is from Paturia of Manikganj at the east and to Daulatdia of Rajbari District at the west end. Very strong and well built ships are busy 24/7 in transporting a huge amount of vehicles. During the festivals like Eid the Traffic is the highest. It takes 25-30 minutes to cross the river. This is the place where the Padma and the Jamuna River meet So It's a great place to visit.

Previously this was very busy ferry route. but after after open Padma bridge, now it’s very easy to cross the river within just 20 minutes.

Biggest Ferry Ghat in Bangladesh. But you have to be careful on the ferry. There are so many cheaters on the ferry. Some hocker will provide you with the wrong product. So stay alert

Daulatdia-Paturia ghat is a tremendous example of beautiful Bangladesh.Basically its a ghat which connect one disctrict to another through Padma river. it connects dhaka to other district like faridpur,barishal,khulna,satkira,jessore,kustia,chuadanga and so many.

Once the only road for the Southern part of the country, now less busy due to Padma bridge. still a very busy place. The less busyness created pickpocketing and thefts.
