I always prefer this route to Jhenaidah from Dhaka for the following reasons:

1. There are three routes to leave Dhaka. Only this path is free from high traffic. You can use the path through Singair, Manikganj also if you want to.

2. You don't need to cross the high traffic of Dhaka within the city.

3. There is no heavy traffic in the ferry.

Paturia ferry terminal in Manikganj, the gateway to 21 districts in the southern part of the country. But this is the gateway to human suffering. Most of the time there is a lot of traffic at this wharf. The last time I went I was sitting in traffic for six hours. I hope this ghat will improve during the development of the country.

One of the most important ferry terminals in Bangladesh which is connected with Daulatdia ferry terminal. This route connects the South West part of Bangladesh with the capital city, Dhaka. Mismanagement is often observed here and different hazardous situations are created by the authority. Road side temporary food suppliers may demand 10 times price if you don't bargain with them.

Paturia (Manikganj) to Daulodia( Rajbari) is an important and busiest ferry root. South Bengal even kolakata's buses use this route. Sometimes ferry scarcity make long jam( for non ac direct bus). If you want to go Khulna, gopalganj then must avoid this route. Go maowa,that will be fast.

A very busy and active ferry terminal beside the river Padma is located in the Manikganj district. The other side is the Dawlatdia ferry terminal in the Rajbari district.

From here you can easily get beautiful scenes of mighty Padma. After the Padma bridge opened it was a quiet place now. You can come here easily from Dhaka.

This is the fastest route from Dhaka to Kushtia.

Its a major zone for connecting south bangle. Both ferri and launch service available. But the ferri management is not good at all here,totally insufficient. The natural beauty is stunning.

Not bad . But lot of underprivileged children gathering here.
