It is a big market in sylhet town. This place is always very crowded with buyers and sellers. Many people go there to do every kind of shopping there.

In 1959, the then Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet constructed Hasan Market there. Some of the old Shirisa or Glue trees were still inside open space of the market. Those trees now scuttle people of Sylhet with the memory of the Historical Lanaguage Movement, Govinda Park, King GC School and the MC College.

And, this mosque is always open for the prayers which is great.
And after ending your Salat, when you left the mosque... You will see some shops of various types of essential things.

By the way, A mosque is always an honourable for a Muslim. That's why, you have to kept the area of Mosjid clam. I think, the mosjid committee tried to keep the area calm though there are lots of hawkers on the way of the mosjid.

This is the best market i have ever seen.The people are awesome they are beeing too nice.When you enter everyone from the mall will ask to help you no need to worry you will get what you want.They have so many fashionable shop.You can get shoe,cloths,bags etc etc.You also get all cosmetics.In one words this place is superb.

Very crowding place but it is a very old market in Sylhet city and the first business point of Sylhet Division. it's very near from Surma river and Dhaka Sylhet highways. it's main businesses point of Sylhet till now. you cal buy all grocery products, electronics, electrical, computer, mobile, hardware, software, foods, clothing, vegetables, fish, mutton, beef, and all kind of daily necessary products at cheap price than other place.

Largest shopping area in sylhet city...sp,dc,city Corporation office held in this area...very busy always...in one word life of Sylhet city...please keep away from cheaters,although sylhet is better than any other city’s in Bangladesh 🙂
