Drakes Castle Plaza

I shopped at this store today and was served at the checkout by Jordie, what a delightful young man. He packed my groceries well and was happy and helpful.
I then went to the express checkout to make another purchase and was greeted by two more happy smiling staff
members Emily and Stacey. Thank for employing such lovely people. It made my day and my shopping experience great

Great shop . fantastic shop and they do proper home delivery not dump frozen food in hot sun as Coles just did to me

I go regularly to Drakes at Castle Plaza. I find the staff very helpful and friendly. I am very happy with the prices and selection of products within the store. I do recommend Drakes x at Castle Plaza for doing your shopping.

I shopped here for the first time yesterday after a presentation from the Drake family. I was most impressed but huge range and many gluten-free options. Lots of local produce and Independant brands that are disappearing from Coles shelves where I used to shop. Comparable pricing and specials, Friendly staff and less than one minute wait at checkout

South African, first time at drakes, using their click and collect. Samuel and Ashley were both friendly and helpful. Simple pick up and pleasant experience.

Came in on 5-7-23 6.17pm and got overcharged by 45 dollars.

Before I got the receipt I asked the staff members, young women with blonde hair, young guy with dark hair if I was being charged right and they both yes.

I got my receipt and saw that I was being charged 45 dollars for some tarts which I did not buy so the young women gave me a credit to my bank and said sorry.

Not sure if this happened deliberately or if the staff member made an honest mistake, I have never had any problems like this at drakes edwardstown before and I hope that it wasn't a message being sent to me to not shop there anymore as I spend a hundred dollars on average every fortnight.

If I could get a reply from someone on here to let me know that would be great, I've kept the 5 star rating as I think it's a great supermarket and there are some good products I enjoy purchasing.

The prices are a bit high but the quality of product is great, I thought it was a bit wreckless that the staff didn't clear the previous item from the computer but at least they apologised, I think more care should be taken next time.

If it happens again next time I might consider shopping at Coles instead but like I said I've never had a problem until this one time.

Great to see Drakes supporting a fabulous South Australian brand, and my favourite yoghurt! (Even though I am a little bias!)

Produce is fresh. Easy shelving, happy staff@ airconditiong is healthy.

This is a fantastic store. Everything we need can be found here. The fruit & veg are A1 and we even found pastry in a roll rather than buying pre sized sheets. HIGHLY recommend a visit here. We are happy 😊 shoppers. ✔✔✔

The 2nd best drakes super market in Adelaide after golden grove Drake's, some great childhood friends of mine have worked there and I love to see them time to time. I with they had more jolt soft drink flavors like years ago but it's only cola these days. I often get my Lenard's chicken products from the deli here and they are always delicious. Barossa fine foods pizzas are awesome but are a bit expensive, definitely a luxury food compared to dominos. The rump steaks can be a bit on the lower quality side but they are under $15 kg when on special, much cheaper and still better than Aldi. The roasted chickens are some of the best I've ever had. Their selection of pre made salads and pastas is my favorite in Adelaide. Even though I prefer the golden grove Drake's I go to the castle plaza drakes far more often because I like the shopping center there more. 1 bus from home compared to 2, either way it takes an hour each way but it's definitely worth it for my jolt cola and rump steak fixes.

This is my preferred place to shop for groceries. Wider range than the big 2 and plenty of local products. Fresh produce is of a far superior quality to the others and often cheaper as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is usually pretty easy and the shop isn't too busy (apart from the usual pre-Easter snd Christmas crowds). I've never had a bad experience at Drakes Castle Plaza and am very happy to continue supporting a local business.

Very large brand selection but pricey compared to Coles Supermarket. Fruit Vegetables were extremely well presented generally a wider variety of brands than Coles but higher prices. Staff are very helpful in taking care to locate odd items as I rarely use the store. Displays and appearance very good...if variety was the shopping criteria then this is where you need to shop.

I frequently shop at Drakes Castle Plaza, because the prices are reasonable and they have a good range of products. I especially enjoy their bakery, as I enjoy their range of pastries. All their cakes and buns have real cream, so delicious. Drakes have pastries that other bakeries don't have.One of my favourites is the Sun Kiss round soft sponge on top and bottom with real cream inside. It makes my mouth water.

After moving a year ago, I still come back to shop here! Good range, friendly staff, local produce. Support SA business.

Nice speciality selection. Australian jobs, high quality food etc. Kytons available when the factory Cafe is closed....Unless sold out.
