Universal Store

Clothes shopping is one of my least favourite experiences, I often leave feeling defeated and uncomfortable. That was not the case today. They service at universal managed to cut through all the displeasure I usually feel trying on clothes and was quite the enjoyable experience. Though I still couldn't find something to fit me, the services was fantastic. I've never had someone more helpful then your staff. They made excellent suggestion and wore more then happy to try and find something that fit. I left feeling confident and excited at the prospect of trying universal again next season. Defiantly a good stop for your next shopping trip

Great selection of informal 'casual' clothing and accessories. Located in the Canberra Centre directly upstairs from the Food Court.

First time shopping at Universal and I went in looking for a pair of white jeans, they weren't stocked, I had a staff member call belconnen and check but no luck. She then advised they had just received an order that possibly would have them which would be processed and on the shelf later in the week! I expressed I had a wedding on the weekend so she went and checked the paperwork and ended up digging them out for me and they were a perfect fit👌 the staff member was Sammie and I will shop at Universal again as a result of her incredible customer service.

A fabulous staff member Jacky who made the shopping experience for my 14 year old daughter absolutely wonderful. After my daughter was yelled at by an aggressive and uneducated shop assistant in Supre Canberra Centre ("Blaise" - yes complaint has been lodged, please avoid this store if you do not wish to be abused!) she was in tears and ready to go home. I forced her into the Universal Store as she still needed some clothing and she was treated like royalty. After complimenting the staff on how friendly and attentive they all were, I explained what had happened at Supre and the staff were so upset and outraged at how she had been treated, they all went out of their way to shower my daughter with extra special attention, bringing her outfits to try on and giving her advice about what looked good and what colours looked great etc. She left that store with a huge smile on her face and an armful of clothes! Thank you so much for creating a very positive end to what had been a very ugly incident. All the staff were happy and smiling and 3 staff had asked if they could help us within 5 minutes of being in the store. A huge thank you to the beautiful Jacky and Area Manager Gabi. Fabulous Company and will be buying clothes here from now on!! x. ≈

I was shopping during Black Friday and these two lovely ladies, Gentra and Gaby, were very helpful. Despite it being very busy, they were still able to assist me calmly and in a very friendly manner. Many thanks to them!

I came in to look for pants and Finn put together the most perfect outfit for me he’s literally so amazing and was so nice, customer service was at 100 and he has the best style and I’m so excited for wear the new fit!!! Thank you so much

Really disappointed with the customer service here. I just wanted to quickly try on some shorts but the girls working were too busy mucking around to notice me waiting to be let into the change rooms. The store was empty and they were assisting no else. I had to go up to them, interrupt their conversation and ask if I could try the shorts on. The staff seemed very young and immature; not happy with this experience.

the dark hair girl store manager, asian i think? who always works in the checkout is so unfriendly and not helpful at all. when i asked a question about a pair of shoes she seemed like she didnt want to be approached or asked. bad customer service from her, very disappointed.
