Katie was amazing from the get go! Super friendly and easy to talk to. I wanted something unique as our Wedding Cake and she absolutely blew everyone away! Not to mention how tasty the cake was! Katie created our 25th Wedding Anniversary cake. I was so blown away when I saw it on the day. It was magnificent. The flavours of each level also amazing - the bottom was a marble mud cake, middle was carrot cake and the top was a white chocolate raspberry cake. I wish I skipped dinner so I could’ve eaten more! I can’t believe how well she put together all the images I sent her (about 20!!) to make something so magical. On the same weekend we also celebrated my son’s 18th birthday and his cake - a tardis, was equally magnificent. This one was cookies and cream mud cake flavour and was amazing. He was pretty stoked with the cake. Thanks for all your hard work Katie! You helped make both our events magical

Katie is my go to cake lady! I love how enthralled everyone is when I unveil her cakes at our events! She has so far done my mum’s 70th, my husband’s 40th, and yesterday my little girls 2nd birthday cake. They look amazing, taste fantastic, and are always presented by Katie with a warm and happy disposition. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you Katie!

Katie is a cake genius! We asked her to create our son's 21st cake to look like his recently purchased 18th century book. A new challenge for her. We were absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Except for the difference in size, and the cake board, you wouldn't know which was the real book. It was a shame to cut the cake, but the eating made it worthwhile. Delicious jaffa mud cake. Katie made an amazing cake for my mum's 80th birthday. The cake was a delicious chocolate mud cake. The cake looked beautiful. Although the price seems high, it really isn't, when you consider the time and skill that goes into making cakes of this quality. I would definitely recommend Katie Young's Cakes for any special occasion.

Katie made us a beautiful beyblade cake for our sons 4th birthday! Not only was the flavour perfect, she captured the hearts of all the kids with the most perfect depiction of a beloved children’s interest! The cake was perfect and was a big hit with everyone at the party! Thank you Katie!

I asked for a dolphin cake. I got that and so much more. Without realising, Katie also created shells and frangipanis as decorations which were also favourites of Carol's. Nothing was too much trouble and delivered on time. The cake was a hit.

Katie designed a cake for my son's 21st around his love of diving and it was brilliant! I have been ordering specialty cakes for some years now. Katie always listens to your needs to ensure your cake is perfect for the occasion. The actual cakes are delicious. Recently ordered some gluten free cupcakes to add to my daughter’s engagement cake. Everyone who ate them said they were amazing. Katie always responds to your queries promptly & cakes are ready for collection on time.
