Among the best places to witness beautiful, picturesque sunsets. Pelicans and egrets are commonly seen, adding to the appeal of this place.

Beautiful place, very specious for large family outings. Plenty parking, shelters with seats available and restroom is reasonable. Had BBQs, even celebrated a Gender reveal and Baby shower

Arrived abt 5pm clear day in summer - very relaxing place. Wide, wide scenery.. large lake.. very peaceful.

Lots of green, green grass to sit on. Plenty of shade in the centre from many tall, tall trees.

Very nice place for picnic and day out. Can go there every alternate weekend. Have everything you need for a day out, covered places, picnic area, gas barbecue, open spaces

Well maintained facility, the toilet and picnic area are clean. Beautiful water front view and nice breath for a Sunday afternoon nap. Love it.

Amazing spot - great to catch a sunset on the mountains! The facilities here are excellent with BBQs, play equipment for kids and toilet facilities with plenty of parking. If you setup on 'Peninsula' bit you can enjoy some amazing views around dusk. Hard to believe that your still in Brisbane... Will definitely be back again!

Absolute gorgeous lake with a great picnic area.

Beautiful lake. There are a lot of picnic tables and BBQ facilities available. The kids play ground is also quite good.

Spent a nice couple of hours, sitting in the shade, of a gorgeous day, talking to a friend. Loved every minute! Took photos, watched the birds, and relaxed.

I can stay here all day

This is a well maintained picnic destination. Very scenic and peaceful. The best thing I enjoyed about Bullocky Rest was the space. There were a lot of people there when we visited but you wouldn't know it as there's enough room to spread out.

Lovely, quiet spot for a picnic and a walk. Koalas sleeping in the trees, birds, butterflies, tables and shade, BBQ and restroom facilities. No domestic animals permitted.

Beautiful spot for fishing and picnicking with friends and family. Lots of shade and seating areas as well as barbecue facilities. Nice kids playground and walking trails too l.

We love Bullocky Rest, there's plenty of BBQs, seating, a small playground and very clean toilet.

What a lovely location for a family picnic or BBQ mountains in the background and the lovely lake with black swans, lots of shelters or grassy areas, playground 😀

Perfect spot to enjoy mesmerizing sunsets and picnics. There is a playground for children as well.
