Dollars and Sense

This is a lovely, bright and open discount store. It is easy to navigate with a wheelchair. The young staff are friendly and always try to help you find what you need. This store does a great selection in seasonal items, Easter, Christmas in July, etc. There is also a large selection of artist's supplies, with a focus on painting and drawing materials. I also like their cards and wrapping paper selection.

The store is okay but it's due to close down
At the moment,it'a got up to 50% off items but there isn't much in store.

if i could give 0 stars i would, some of the staff are so rude! i was shopping with my two 5 year old daughters when they saw an OPENED packet of play dough sitting on the shelf. As the CHILDREN they are they picked it up and started to play with it, when the RUDEST staff member i’ve ever come across yelled at them. the attitude she gave was unbelievable! she threatened to call security on my two daughters if we didn’t leave the store immediately and swore at them. the nicest boy working at the counter told us to have a nice day while she stood behind us and mimicked my daughters cries.

Absolutely rude manager with white hair. Older lady, I heard her speaking down on young staff members working there. This is clearly a first time job for many young people and the way she degrades and belittles younger staff is horrendous. Do better for these kids.
