JB Hi-Fi Charlestown

Really good store and I feel the best in the hunter region. They have great stock levels so if you can’t get it elsewhere no doubt you will get it here. The prices at these stores really are just standard. You no longer get discounts by negotiating price if the do it’s like $2 on a $1000 item, so why bother. They have computers electrical home theatre appliances etc. This store doesn’t sell white goods though.

The store has lots of stuff, but things are more expensive here than in other stores that sell the same things. If you don't mind spending a lot, you might like it because they have a big variety of good-quality items. But I recommend checking out other stores first. Also, they check your bags every time you come in or leave, which can be annoying, especially if you buy a bunch of things because I've had some problems with online shopping.

This store has very friendly and helpful staff. I bought what I wanted.

It was very empty when I got there so I got plenty of help and looked after really well. Couldn't get anything for my Garmin watch, which died after 20 months out of warranty, which sucked. Things just don't last.

Shame that the cds 💿 are not stocked the way they use to be. I love my cds

Sam gave us some of the best customer service this evening that iv had in a very long time. Very honest, patient and thorough through out the whole experience. Asked us about all the extras on offer without bring pushy too. A huge asset to your store. Also the Kanto starter pins on their lanyard are 10/10

Thanks to Dillon for his patience, knowledge and understanding when I needed to return a mobile phone for repairs under warranty. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks also to Sam for his assistance and advice re PS4 and PS5.

I don’t review often but thought I’d share my experience. The workers at the Charlestown store are incredible, so welcoming and listen and provide you HONEST reviews (e.g. when to upgrade and when to get the lower model of an item cos the more expensive one isn’t worth it). It doesn’t feel like they are just there to pump you out like a sausage factory for a sale. Always happy for you to think about it and come back. For years I have been coming here and now don’t even bother with other JB stores this one is the best by far!

JB is where us film nerds get our physical media. Love their selection.

Josh helped me pick a great pair of brooks shoes to accommodate my different feet issues due to ankle reconstruction.

Johnny has to be by far the best service i've ever received, he listened to our needs and went through everything thing that we needed know. Most importantly he made the process so easy and comfortable especially with a 17 month old.

Just popped into JB Hi-Fi at Charlestown square, I am extremely pleased to say we had a very pleasant experience with team member Jack. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, He must be a valued team member there, We are extremely happy with our service and the product we received.

Super friendly store. I accidentally set of an alarm, that apparently is very difficult to turn off. However, they didn't take this out on me, but instead provided me with really good service. Blake in particular, walked me through the benefits of a product I was looking at and guided me to decide what best fits me. The store was clean, well staff, and very welcoming.
