I just went there buying some raw peanuts and I met the most beautiful young Thai lady helping me about Luncheon meat .I thought I was dead and I was in paradise.I told her she is very pretty.I have never ever met such a beautiful lady in my life.

I went there again yesterday to get some hot curry powder and Garam masala powder and again spoke to the very pretty adorable Thai young lady at the shop.I will one day marry her if she is single.Regards:John

Friendly staff. Took time to help me find what I wanted. Lots of products. Many noodles, chilli. Good prices too. I was able to get tapioca flour to make my gluten free baking. Bulk rice in 20kg bags! Good for cooking on a budget for big family.

Despite the recent reviews on Big Asia, i was utterly surprised at the amount of products they had and was impressed by it. I recently moved up from Sydney and i struggled to find a good asian grocer in Cairns until i drove pass this place on my way to Innisfail. Service wise, the beautiful staff there was so nice. She even suggested a few butchers around the area...(as butchers are also a rare site). Prices are reasonable and much cheaper than the tiny grocery at Smithfield...(and dont even let me start on their attitude towards service). As the owner has mentioned in one of their replies...it isnt easy to run a business esp up this end of Aust. Keep up the great work and products you already have. I rather drive 30mins to you than to go back to that Asian Grocer in Smithfield Shopping centre.

I used to come to this supermarket a lot with my mum when I was younger!! I would always take yummy snacks for my mum to buy and eat then when I go in my car, I wish I can come there more often again!

Love this place. I live in Weipa, so when I'm in Cairns I stock up on everything I need here. Great selection of Asian ingredients and products from Korean to Filipino to Chinese and Indonesian and almost everwhere in between. The only place I've been able to find anywhere that stocks koji. The staff is hugely friendly and helpful and will ship if you need.

Great selection of foods across many Asian cuisines. Notable are the spices which are high quality and really reasonably priced. Whether you want I found they devote a lot of space to packet noodles and the kimchi selection is a little low (I like the BIG containers). Their Facebook posts are entertaining and helpful, which is odd for a place like this.

A wide variety of the best products I've seen. Staff always ready to help you find the right item you need. It's my favorite store.

Helpful staff all of them are friendly, more varieties and great price than other asian shop I have been went to in Cairns. I just move here but can buy all my home town product from Big Asia Supermarket. Thank you :)

was looking for a specific brand of mooncake which is really hard to find in Cairns and I was surprised that they actually had it and with great price! very nice staff and service, will definitely come more often :)

My favourite spot to grab some frozen DURIAN. Friendly staff and great range of products. They are always happy to help and have a selection of vegan friendly products too.
