I ordered a tablet for my wife. When it arrived, I noticed that it did not charge. So I returned it and they sent me an upgraded version for no extra charge! The communication was excellent throughout this process and their service outstanding. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a good product (As good as new!) for a very low price!

Guys know their stuff. Wak in and they can explain differences between machines. Good value second hand stuff. I was only after cheap and cheerful and have had good experiences with this place this is third computer I have purchased from them over last 10 years or so.
Parking beside shop makes it easy.

Have bought a couple systems from ACT now and their service and approach to customer service is faultless. The machines themselves are always in better condition than expected and offer fantastic value. Any issues are always rectified with a smile, never any dramas.

These guys are fantastic.
I have purchased 5 or 6 computers over the years always taken the extended warranty. Have had minor issues here and there but have always been sorted in a quick efficient way to the point of just replacing and usually with a slight upgrade if necessary due to availability. This morning I took son's laptop in that he needed asap for school. They replaced fan straight away and was on my way in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend there computers and service. Purchased a Surface 2 laptop for around $300, a bit of a delay in shipping as I ordered over the Christmas period but once the operations resumed had the computer within 2 days. I did send an email query during this time though and the team was very responsive

Honestly I was quite nervous reading some of the other reviews, but I am very happy with the service and the computer. It has minor cosmetic issues but this was clearly stated upon purchase, and the computer runs perfectly. Came with 87% battery health and CPU runs really efficiently for a used computer. I'm confident it will be able to do everything I need, and for an extremely reasonable price. I will definitely be recommending Aus Computer Traders to friends and family.

After initially receiving a damaged laptop, Joseph from ACT has been extremely helpful in resolving the situation. He followed up my complaint and organised a resupply of an "A" grade unit without delay. In fact, he took the courtesy to send the replacement unit before I returned the faulty one. The replacement laptop was packaged very well, and arrived on time and in top condition. I highly recommend ACT Australian computer traders, as their dealings with me have been very professional on all counts. Thanks Joseph.

Purchased an Acer PC back in November but they sent me an old cheaper Dell PC instead. I returned it soon after and since then have heard nothing back from ACT and it is now January. Called their support number and person said they didn’t know anything about it. This has been a rotten experience and I have spent about $1000 and still have no PC.
Update: ACT did eventually send me the correct PC and it is a good PC and is exactly as specified and it was a good price. As such I have updated my review from 1 to 5 stars. Staff at the store were very responsive and professional once they learnt of the mistake. The 2 months delay was probably not helped by Christmas being in that period. As far as I am concerned they have totally redeemed themselves and anyone who can make a mistake, fix it and be friendly at the same time is pretty good.

I highly recommend this computer shop for three reasons: their excellent after-sales service, their wide selection of second-hand government products, and their long history of providing quality service.

1) Reliable after-sales service: I've purchased 3 laptops for myself and my friends over the past 5 years, and I've been very happy with the service I've received. The after-sales service has been excellent, including free help when my friend lost his password.

In particular, I had an issue with one of the laptops I purchased, but it was very helpful to receive a replacement product at a reasonable option. This would not have been possible with an online store, as I would not have been able to meet with a person to discuss the issue.

I understand that this shop has over 25 years of history, and they sell second-hand government products that were originally well maintained by IT professionals. This gives me confidence in the quality of the products they sell.

2) Good quality for the market price: The price is generally reasonable for the market price, but it could be a bit high in some cases. However, this could be negotiated."

3) Advice on computer use: I was able to get additional advice from a knowledgeable salesperson, beyond what I could find on Google search, when I was able to meet someone face-to-face at the store.

Bought an ex government computer from them works great $120 dollars just wanted a cheap 1 for when I'm away in brisbane for work you can pick up newer 1s for more as to make your main PC at home just need to make sure it is Intel series 8 so you can upgrade to windows 11.

Bought a laptop from them before and it came exactly as described in a timely fashion. Now I'm buying some desktops and the sales team are simply excellent to work with

Bought a desktop PC on the website and the CPU fan wasn't spinning. Sent them an email with pics explaining the issue.
They sent a new a replacement CPU fan express post, no extra charge.
Also, the 2nd-hand desktop PC was looked brand-new inside.
Very happy with purchase.
Would def be purchasing from these guys in the future.

Deal with them direct, don't go through Amazon or any other third party entities. The young fella that helped me with a student laptop purchase for my son was very helpful.

I purchased a refurbished surface dock where unfortunately the charging component was not working. I alerted the team and they sent a replacement dock out straight away. Cannot recommend them enough

For an all in one 24" screen I5 G6 that works perfectly for $269 is beyond easy....had it for a month now and still running beautifully. Will not hesitate to purchase again in the future....
