We all loved it there, I like the board games they have and trivia cards that's a really cute idea. The choice of beer was staggering. My son had the trio of wings, I think $24 for a kg of wings is really good. I had the local #20 from Hamilton which was light and fruity. Definitely book over the weekend if you want a table it's packed. I would definitely go there again no problem. Really happy with the experience.

Great value for what you get. And a friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed the chicken wings. Albeit, 1kg for 2 people might be pushing it, especially if you add anything else to the order.

Very cool tap house, lots of awesome indies on top. Great video, friendly staff, and good food. Will be back.

My mum, daughter and I had lunch here on Tuesday the 11th of July. Not only was it freshly made and ready within minutes, the atmosphere and the bar staff were amazing hosts. I ordered the maple pork wrap, now let me tell you this is the place to go to for anything slow cooked and pulled apart. Not only was it juicy and succulent pork, the presentation of it was simple but amazing. My mum ordered the grain burger and she said that was beautiful aswell. For drinks, the craft beer No.8 was a good one for my mum and the rose fury margharita was delicious. 10/10 will be back again!

Helpful friendly staff, well presented and delicious food and one of the best ranges of independently brewed beers across 20 taps. Indoor and Outdoor seating with high stools, low chairs, picnic tables and booth options. A sixth star for stocking several alcohol free beer options.

Came in here for buffalo wings. I did not expect much since they don’t use Franks (or maybe they do? Not sure) and being from Chicago, our wing scene is serious stuff. I walked out a humbled, happy and stuffed dude.
When I asked for a sparkling water, they didn’t make (too) much of me for being clueless when the bartender replied with “we got cider water”.
Cider meaning “soda” with that smooth Aussie accent. The shame…

For real though, that place is awesome. Go and spend your dollars. It’s worth it.

A relaxed venue with tasty meals and great atmosphere. The menu consists of pub favourites that includes burgers, wraps, loaded fries, pizza and Salads. The pizzas are delicious and a generous size. The bar has a large range of local brews on tap to suit most tastes. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I recommend visiting the venue and will return in the future.

Amazing wings. One of the best in Newcastle in my opinion. A very family safe place which can be a bit loud for me but amazing for others. Either way, worth the local beer, food and board games

Been my favourite pub for years, they've really earned this review and all of their rewards. Their extra hot loaded chips and wings are truly EXTRA HOT. Their sauce is made with carolina reaper, never have I ever had carolina reaper sauce this hot. I couldn't finish my chips but the staff were so good they willing gave me two glasses of milk. That's customer service and how you earn a repeating customer! They'll be getting our patronage on date nights for quite a while.

Had friends down from gold coast and I took them here for dinner. Thier comment was that it was the meal they'd remember of the trip.

They are hands down the best wings I have had, and never let me down. Me and the guys always order a bucket of wings and a side of fries (each of course 😭) and its a fabulous feed. Get ready to sweat. And guzzle. And enjoy. 5⭐

Great value for money. When I saw the prices on the menu my expectations were not high, but was a very good burger and chips were a 10/10. Excellent selection of beer on tap from a wide range of brewers.

This is a solid brew pub in a comfortable venue. The best selection is excellent, the beers I had were fresh, the staff is friendly and helpful. The burger and chips were fresh and well prepared. Not sure when I'll get back to Newcastle but this place would be a go to for me.

Gee we had a fantastic afternoon at this place. Bustling, family friendly atmosphere with a huge range a craft beer on tap. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and American style modern bar food is very good. Go to the beach in the morning and then walk the 5 minutes to spend a lovely afternoon hanging out.

Great place for lunch, the pork ribs are highly recommended, along with a wide selection of locally crafted beers.

Huge selection of beers on tap. Reasonable prices and good service. Heaps of tables and old style booths with games you can play while eating/drinking. Food was also very good. I would recommend and definitely go back again.

Oktoberfest was fantastic! Still craving for the bratwursts available that day. Great choices of beers as well. Can’t wait to go back.

Great atmosphere in this iconic Aussie Pub no Pokies, just a hub for catching up with friends and family, great selection of craft beers some wine and apple ciders. It’s a popular pub and has American style food which is delicious like ribs. They provide games and also live music, and there are food and beer events throughout the year like Octoberfest. Not very spacious and best to catch the Lightrail or Uber not much parking in Newcastle East. Opposite Newcastle Beach Lightrail platform – Highly recommended 10/10

Huge range of craft beers on offer. $15 taster paddle (5 small cups, approximately 100ml each) available for you to sample the different beers available. If you really like one, you can also consider getting a squealer (approx 1L bottle) of a beer of your choice to bring home.

Good bar food also available.
