Bang & Grind, The Esplanade

Thanks so much for delicious coffee and breakfast, right in the middle of Cairns! We all loved our meals and came back for coffee again the next day. Super friendly and attentive staff as well, we’ll definitely see you again when we’re back in Cairns next time!

A very friendly, well-priced and happy cafe! I love that it is dog friendly and the staff are so kind and great at their jobs! Food was delicious and the juices/smoothies were so fresh and tasted so good! We got take away and it was very quick too.

Found this place for breakfast and loved it! So well priced and staff were lovely. Had the garden breakfast and it was more than enough. Coffee was great too. Will be coming back again while I am here. Recommend it highly.

Wonderful experience, had Breakfast there 3 times during our visit , great service and fantastic food , the pink dragonfruit appears as sorbet under the fresh fruit and granola ,

Thankyou for the beautiful breakfast and coffee. We stayed in Cairns for a few days and each day came back to try other options on your menu. Delightful food and drinks served in amongst a potted up forest. Loved the garden on the sidewalk. Highly recommend your healthy food options 🙏🏼

Fantastic local place, upscale platting, and amazing taste! The pancakes stack was so elevated. Great smoothie and coffee. Recommended I want to try the entire menu. Located Next to art gallery. Outdoor covered seating.

Very decent coffee, consistently so & with a well varied menu re food, varying from cookies & almond croissants to acai & buddah bowls or full & substantial cooked breakfasts.
Has a nice vibe, situated adjacent to Cairns art gallery & very close to the Esplanade & Lagoon etc.
Very Highly Recommended.

Food and service was excellent. Staff were excellent and polite and moving quickly to service the customers and make sure the tables were cleaned

Just had a beautiful breakfast. The food was so delicious and freshly made. Great coffee. But the staff were the standout, so friendly…. every single one that I interacted with was so lovely. Highly recommend this little beauty 🤩

Another very nice Café in Cairns. Just a block away from the Marina, and around the corner from the Esplanade on Shields Street.

Plenty of covered outdoor seating, protected from
the harsh spring sun, and enjoying the nice Coral Sea Breeze that sneaks through the Cairns Lagoon pool.

Coffee was very good.

Poached eggs and Avocado on Turkish was simple, but actually was very nice. Would eat this as my breakfast or lunch every day !

We had breakfast here and it was amazing. We took a flat white, iced latte, smoothie, acai bowl and garden breakfast - all was tasty and delicious. The acai bowl is healthy and fresh, the garden bfast was tasty. On top of that all is well presented. Finally the coffee was also very well done. We sat on the terrace with the good weather and we enjoyed it. Definitely recommend if you have time to enjoy your bfast!

We had brunch here today and really enjoyed it. I had fruit salad with yoghurt and granola, and my daughter had a pork band mi. Both were delish. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. 💜

Very filling healthy meals. Vegan options available. The staff are terrific! Attentive and friendly. The coffee is strong - just the way I like it! They serve all day breakfast, lunch from 10:30am to 2:00pm. Pet-friendly too.
