Great Spot. 2km from Agnus town centre. Follow the white 'hipcamp' sign on roadside. Greg was very friendly and approached us when we arrived at dark and told us to pretty much park anywhere (be mindful of loose tree branches above). Heaps of room. Very quiet and peaceful - went to sleep and woke up to the sound of nature. Grass could do with a cut but other than that would definitely recommend. Phone reception and fire pits provided 👌

Awesome spot, lots of ancient gums and plenty of wildlife, we spotted frogs, kingfishers and possums in the one night.
Its a pretty new site only been open for a few days, we chatted to the owner and water is being put in now with other amenities coming soon.
Perfect for self sufficient campers, plenty of open spaces.
Would reccommed.

We love this kind of camping, bush setting, lots of wildlife, yes a little muddy when wet... a little dusty when dry...sites are well layaid out and generous...staff are very friendly. Great place to camp. Scampy love it there! so we will be back.

Bloody ripper of a spot. Greg the owner answered my call (unlike anyone else in town) made it easy for us to get a cosy spot for the night. Love the serenity. Only thing I'd recommend is a bigger sign out front. Cheers matey.

Called in to have a look around. Wayne was extremely helpful. The caravan area is lovely. Big sites and powered. Dog friendly. We will be back.

This camp was well positioned to act as a base for our exploring of Agnes Water and 1770. There are number of 'firepits' dotted around. The kids were thrilled to spot many small frogs. Got a little boggy due to extreme rain while we were there but dried quickly the following day. Plenty of room for our 22' van, easy payment with an honesty box, nice to be on a bush block but close to town. Do yourself a favour and check out the fish and chips in town, best we have ever had (especially the coral trout!)

Very friendly staff. They were badly affected by heavy rain couple of days before we got there so our site was a bit muddy. Other than that it was a great location, amenities were great. We would love to stay there again in better weather. If you are travelling with a dog 🐕 the staff love animals and cater for them better than any place we have ever stayed, would highly recommend.

3 stars is not indicative of how lovely the place is. The camp sites are huge, fire wood is supplied free. Nice & quiet at night, full of bird calls all day & the resident kookaburras are a delight.

If the were an amenities block this stay would be 5 ⭐

Drove past it twice ...drove in around a tree and out 95% of photo are of property next door not worth $1 a night ...lies lies false
