Beautiful place, I love experiencing 1770 camping ground. We stay every year on a beach side spot, an awesome place to be if you are travelling on Australias East Coast.

Great campgrounds, right on the beach. The sunsets here are amazing!! ❤ You're allowed a fire if you have a self contained fire pit (no ash on ground) & can buy firewood ($20 cash) that gets delivered to your site (which lasted us all 3 nights). Lots of bush turkeys around so you can't leave food or rubbish out. Plenty of toilets (2 amenity blocks) with hot showers & laundry facilities.

Such a beautiful relaxing beachfront campground, I felt like I was in an island 🏝 we were lucky to get in and enjoy a beachfront site. Can’t wait to return!

Fantastic spot, amenities were always clean and grounds staff super friendly.
Sites are average size but big enough for caravan and bits and pieces and car.
Beach was great and local walks up to the point great.
Staff in the reception were great and had all the necessities like milk, bait and most importantly ice creams for the kids. Easy walk or bike ride to the pub and cafes.

Safe swimming, fishing and kayaking/ SUP. Beautiful location and gorgeous sunsets. Stayed again over the Easter holidays so it was busy as expected. The beachfront sites are cramped - we had a tent but was still right up to the campers next to us. Facilities were adequate for a hot shower and generally clean.

Beautiful caravan park right on the beach! Very chilled out and peaceful. Friendly staff and excellent caretakers who have been there 6 months. We will definitely be back.

It's such a beautiful spot to camp right on the beach. One of the cleanest facilities we have used while camping. No cabins, just camp sites. Owners were lovely & friendly.

It is an amazing location with the water so close and for family's to have fun all around the camp-site. When i visited with my boyfriend, there were many children riding around and it was so safe because of speed bumps and safe travel. Great facilities and staff. Cannot wait to go back!

The camping is totally stunning!! Beautiful view of the ocean, great sunset and a lot of positive energies around the other people who were over there. The place is lucky to have an amazing staff in the reception called Carol! I was 25 minutes away, gave her a call and mentioned to her that my google maps were showing that I was going to arrive at 17:58 and she said she would be there until 18:05 and she did, waited for us! She was just great, very helpful and totally effective at her job! Thank you Carol, the world needs more people with your good will to make things happen and I hope the management team acknowledge your contribution on the business and your actions!! Congratulations and thanks again😍😁😊

Amazing location albeit a bit cramped and super busy. We were lucky as they fitted us in at the last minute. So glad they did as its right next to a wave less sea with incredible sunset views over the sea (almost impossible on the east coast). The location was the best part by far

I loved this park. So many trees. No traffic noise. Easy access to the water. Friendly people. Just so relaxing. What more could you want.
We travelled from Burleigh to Birdsville and back and if I could go back to one park I would choose this one.

Absolutely beach front, very busy but just gorgeous 😊Laid back but great facilities, friendly staff, free live concerts both days we were there by a couple of fellow campers 👍and those sunsets were amazing. Easy walk to the local pub which does excellent fish and chips which we took over the road and ate while watching the boats buzzing around in the sunset ! Perfect couple of days.

Awesome park, right on a perfect beach and a few hundred metres walk into 1770. If you are seeking a fun filled playland with brand new amenities, this isn't your place. If you're after stumbling distance to amazing fishing, chilled out park with campfires on the beach, you'll love it. Will definitely return and it makes sense why it's always so booked out!
