Beautiful mangrove beaches with relatively clear water when the water is calm, and a great place to let your dog off leash! There’s toilets, picnic areas, shower facilities and a small playground nearby, and a few short beach strolls through the mangroves too.

One of the best if not THE best spot to see sunset. Stunning !
Parking, clean restrooms, clean shed - kudos to the local council. I will definitely come back to Seventeen Seventy hopefully this area will not be overcommercialised....

A great place for a barbecue and a dip in the water. Good seating spaces and good barbecues with water available. Close to nearby shops and camping area. The area is also a great place to watch the sunset go down.

Came here with my wife & our son on a day trip from Gladstone. Really beautiful park on the beach. Lots of comfortable public seating areas and free BBQ's. The playground is great for little ones. The beach is good for swimming and paddling with kids as its shallow and no surf. Really enjoyable day at this spot. The staff looking after the grounds are also very friendly and helpful. Hope to return.
