Amazing location at top of hill with snowy river in the view. The pictures does not reveal it but the cabin is quite premium inside with a fast Wifi. My 4 year old had so much fun with friendly animals at the farm. Three nights just went so fast. Our host were very caring and looked after us.

Had a family gathering here, with children ages 5 to 15. The children had great fun with a clear, cool river close by, canoes and kayaks, a pet farm, trails to explore and a playground. The cabins have been tastefully renovated since we last visited over 5 years ago, with comfortable beds, compact kitchen and bathroom. The large windows face east so we awoke to a glorious sunrise and views over the winding river and valley. The hosts were very helpful, as well.

Such a lovely place. We based ourselves here to ski at Perisher and meet our daughter who lives in Canberra. Cottage was so warm, clean and well equipped. We had a lovely fire outside our cabin with gorgeous views of the river and
surrounding hills. Owners were lovely and we enjoyed spending time with their their dogs, lamas and pigs. Lovely walks in and around the farm. So peaceful but not too far to Berridale for a coffee or drink at the pub! Will definitely be back. 💞

This is the second time at the Snowy River Cabins and we absolutely love it here. It's just fantastic to find somewhere so off the beaten path with no internet connection- what bliss! The drive over from the closest town is just stunning and the kids love going over the ford into the property. The cabins themselves are clean, comfy and have everything you need. We loved cooking over the campfire at night. Hayley and Brendan are the perfect hosts. My kids fell in love with the resident dogs, we were tempted to take CoCo home with us. Definitely head up river on the kayaks and try your luck with finding some fools gold or, the sauna was a hit with my husband this time round. If you have time make sure to try out the Micro brewery down the road.

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to relax in nature. Fantastic to be able to take the dog and leave her in the kennels for the day at the cabins whilst we headed up to Mt Kosciusko knowing that she would be safe. Thanks Brendan and Hayley.

We stayed at the Snowy River cabins for a few days during the summer school holidays, with a couple of friends. We hired 2 cabins. Brendan and Hayley were so kind and helpful. They gave us great tips on where to go ( tip one: Dalgethy Brewery , tip two: Jindabyne Rodeo, tip three: Thredbo for horse riding , mountain biking or hiking, and plenty more) and staying at the cabin itself was lovely. They are located along the Snowy River and the water was flowing well and was delightful to swim or kayak in. You can walk around the property, but be aware of the welcoming pack of dogs! They sure know how to steal your hearts ! ( and love a dog biscuit - which we had plenty of for our dog) It a perfect way to unwind. We will be back for sure!!

We really loved our stay, and on our last night didn't want to leave the next day! Great hosts, and a really nice property. Make sure you use the sauna if you're skiing! We only used it on the last night, and wished we did every night. The cabins have everything you need, just bring some sheets and pillow cases (or they can supply those too) and your food and drink. The water crossing was a fun way to commute to the ski fields each morning too! Can't recommend enough!

Having recently stayed at the Cabins I would highly recommend them to everyone. The cabins are secluded, with nice views and really Comfy beds. The wild life in the area is fantastic and so is catching some trout in the beautiful Snowy River, which runs through the property. We did bush walking, swimming, archery, fishing and got to mingle with the farm animals. The owners, Hayley and Brendan, met us with a smile and friendly welcome and gave us some good tips on places to visit. We will definitely be back soon and highly recommended.

Seriously I have never stayed anywhere more serene than the Snowy River Cabins.
Only minutes from the snowfields but you feel like you're hundreds of kilometres from everywhere.
The cabins are basic but comfortable, gorgeous bushland surroundings, to die for views of the Snowy River and the owners bend over backwards to make it a trip to remember.

Leave the Barina at home, 4x4 is almost essential!

This place is spectacular.. the views are beautiful.. the cabins are very comfortable and warm with inside heating. A bedroom with large double bed and large cupboards with plenty of room for clothes . 2 sets of double bunks in main room for kiddies or single adults . Bathroom, dining table with bench seating .. small kitchen with fridge , small oven , hotplates , microwave and all cooking utensils supplied. Large Cupboard next to front door for hanging all your coats (if in winter) ironing board and iron and broom etc in it . Big fire pit at the front of the cabin so days and nights can be spent sitting around the fire overlooking the snowy river , listening to the sounds of the running river . Plenty of space and mountains for hiking. There is a shared sauna and laundry . There are even kayaks for rent for some river fun ..
The owners Brendan and Hailey were truly lovely and helpful at all times . Always happy , smiling and up for a chat . Even their animals were friendly .. getting daily visits from their lovely dog 'tracker' and their big fluffy cat, which was really nice and we looked forward to it.
We took along a small portable t.v. with built in DVD player and some DVDs as there is no WIFI and watched old movies at night
We stayed for 5 days and it was absolutely worth it .. I would highly recommend this place for a No Stress holiday /getaway
YOU DO NEED A 4 WHEEL DRIVE to get in though.

After staying at snowy river cabin throughout the different seasons, it a nice relaxing change. With the snow fields close by for winter adventures to the snowy river at your door step to go fishing or for a paddle up the river then finish off with a bbq next to the sauna.

Its like camping in the bush with the luxury of having a cabin to stay in to keep warm from the weather outside.

Cabins are private with closest neighbour 100m+ away, not in direct view. There was plenty of room in the cabin and most necessary amenities were provided. The surrounding environment was beautiful, even in mid summer. Much enjoyed stay.
