Birchwood Jindabyne

This has been one of my favourite lunches during this trip. It's a good job we arrived at midday because the cafe soon filled up for lunch.
My salmon bagel special was to die for with in house tea smoked salmon.
The steak Sandwich was huge with amazing two massive slices of sirloin steak. Yum.
Great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Absolutely superb, creative, nutritious, delicious food in a beautiful space. These beautiful people really know how to run a first class cafe! I seldom post Google reviews, but Birchwood absolutely deserves 5 stars.

Laura and Kayne - Where do I even start! I’m from Sydney and my fiancé has been in Jindabyne for the last 2 months and I wanted to surprise him with something and that’s where I found Birchwood! Over messaging on Instagram to a phone call, Laura and Kayne went above and beyond in creating the most beautiful lunches for my partner from Monday to Friday. My fiancé was absolutely amazed everyday and not only did it look good it TASTED GOOD! Absolutely worth the surprise, the food and the people are just fabulous and it makes me want to come down to Jindabyne to try it myself! I cannot thank Laura and Kayne enough for helping me put this together , God Bless you Both🤍🤍🤍

Very busy place. Amazing atmosphere. Food is amazing, no complaints and great service as well.

Good portion for the price you will be paying.

Would recommend anyone travelling or local to check out this place. Would definitely visit next time in Jindabyne.

Fantastic coffee, service and food. Very high standards. Food was faultless and used some nice ingredients to add an extra touch of flavour. Nice healthy options with all day brunch available (a must for a cafe in my opinion!).

The staff were so nice they had plenty of staff available so the vibe was extremely relaxed they were all very helpful, welcoming and friendly!

The seating is nicely spaced between tables so you’re not on top of each other - but like so many great spots they are a victim of their own success as so many people want a spot! But the staff handle everyone wonderfully and seated everyone where they could! :)

Will definitely be returning!

Laura and her Husband have created such a beautiful cafe in Jindabyne with so much thought and care. We came every day on our 4 night stay it is that good! Such a personal service and so much amazing homemade food to choose from. The homemade gluten-free bread is by far the best we’ve ever had and the homemade berry jam is superb. The coffee is amazing and all the food options made with the highest quality ingredients. Such a gem in Jindabyne. By far the best breakkie and lunch in town. We will be back in the winter!

Friendly service, delicious coffee and food. Well recommended by the locals and I can see why. They heave with happy customers so expect a bit of a wait for seats and food during usual busy periods like brunch. But well worth it. Highly recommended! 5 stars!

Absolutely lovely place to start day with good food and amazing coffee..
First time tried the Dutch pancakes and it was amazing severed in hot pan with melting icecream .. mindful pan is really hot

My partner had Avo on toast n she really enjoyed the food as well on sides she had potatoes roastie n its crispy 😃

Great brunch food. We dined there twice during the trip. Good quality food and variety too. It was packed both times we were there.

There was a surcharge on the public holiday but we were happy to support local business.

Salmon Poke Bowl was our top rated dish. French Croissant was a Daily special. Will be back next time.

Wonderfully considered menu with tons of options, prioritising local and seasonal produce. The service was top notch too with staff going above and beyond with every interaction. This was a real gem to find whilst on holidays. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting and great atmosphere. Very friendly and prompt staff who knew the menu well. Our food was fresh and tasty and came out in generous portions. Unfortunately, the coffee was not up to par with the food as it was diluted and not as tasty, although perfect drinking temperature. Highly recommend supporting this local business. (All COVIDSafe measures properly followed)

The staff are very friendly and attentive especially considering they were busy when I was here.

I had a burger that was delicious, but the daily specials looked fantastic too.

One of my favourite spots for a great breakfast and coffee. It gets packed during the snow season so either come early or after the morning rush.

The B&E is delicious and the Smashed Avo is really bright and refreshing. Coffee is some of the best in Jindy. Outdoor seating for the pups too!

Greeted by friendly staff and place was already starting to get busy as we arrived. Coffee order was taken straight away after being seated and arrived not long after. Great menu selection for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Decided on the Avo on toast with added bacon and eggs. Meal size was within great proportion and tasted very fresh and flavours were well balanced. Thanks

After checking reviews on coffee shops in Jindabyne we went into Birchwood and were not disappointed.
Coffees were perfect. We only had the fruit toast but even that was excellent with plenty of whipped butter and fresh fruit on the side. Saw some of the dishes for new menu and we have to return and try some. Owner and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend

We came in twice for breakfast because the first experience was yummy!! We ordered Shitake with pesto on sourdough (soooooo good), Baked Dutch Pancake (9.8/10) Granola muesli (yum)! Beautiful waitstaff Helena looked after us. Will be returning again in the future.

The best meal we had! Owners were in the kitchen serving up the freshest, tastiest food. Great vibes and good people. We had the Buddha Bowl and daily juice which absolutely hit the spot. Something for everyone here, do not miss

Stopped by for a brunch, I had a fresh OJ and the animal burger which was great. the coffee was perfect, we had a long black which had tasting notes and sparkling water cleanser. The staff were friendly and the service was quick can't ask for any more than that.
