Snowy Region Visitor Centre

Lovely and helpful staff. We visited on a public holiday so there weren’t many people there as you can see in the pictures. They have some nice info for surrounding area and some good tips on how to make the best of your day there.

Good customer service and information available. We paid the parking fee over there. No issues at all smooth service. Lots of souvenir available for collection.

Nicely designed visitor centre. The staff are really helpful and show passion in helping. Considering the volume they turn around, I am surprised that they haven’t turned into grumpy mode. Real asset to Australian tourism

This is such a good information centre. Very big and therefore has so much to offer inside.
There are walls full of plenty of information brochures, as well as a very wide range of souvenirs as well as little gadgets etc.
Staff here are more than willing to help you out with anything you may need.
The models of the mountains near the entrance are really quite amazing and very well done.
Plenty of information regarding the history and the significance of Snowy River which is defiantly another interesting part.
Overall it was a great experience and will hopefully return again!

Amazing staff. As for me being a first timer, the staff were very responsive and cooperative. Guided me through the process of what to get and from where. Center is conveniently located. Easy to access and plenty of parking.

Such great customer service! I showed up at 4pm on a Sunday thinking I'd just book a campsite when I got there, which was a total newb error and I should have realised all the campgrounds around Kosciuszko would be busy all the time! But the nice man at the info centre went out of his way and made some phone calls to find me a place to stay in the national park😄 Thanks for the extra effort, I appreciate it😁

My first visit to the Visitor Centre, although I've been to Jindabyne many times. The cafe-produced banana bread is the best I've ever had and their coffee is also excellent.

Very informative museum / visitor centre on Snowy Hydro and the work to build the Hydro Scheme, the videos are worth a watch, has a cafe and toilets too, just before you enter Cooma

Small place with info on the surrounding areas. It's got a cafe that serves food and drinks. A cinema in the back. No free wifi.

The souvenirs shop has a great range of quality gifts, and the building itself is beautiful inside and out.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn the centre remains open during (most) public holidays.

Arrived here with 5 minutes till closing time. Ladies very helpful with PLB hire (Free hire) and trip intentions form. If travelling up to Mount Kosciuszko and need advice or snow reports, this is your place. You can grab your National Park Pass here. Good car park size. However, if you're after a souvenir skip this place and head to the main shopping block in Jindabyne and will find a few better shops.

The staff were friendly and answered my queries regarding accommodation and activities in the region. The cafe next door was clean and the Chicken burger was delicious. There was also a small gallery depicting the history of the region and an art exhibition of local art and photography which I found intersesting and a high quality exhibition.

Highly recommend checking in with the staff prior to your Kozzi adventures. Very helpful, patient and knowledge. Thanks guys!

Woollies is just next door, many shops nearby too.
There is kid’s corner for children too so that we could go around and gather whatever information needed

Didn’t enter inside but the area around seems lovely! Carparks were very full though, a little difficult finding a parking spot for my big motorhome!

Lovely combination of the information centre, museum, cinema and cafe. Wifi does get quite congested. Food is reasonable with a waiter service. Excellent toilets.

Beautiful visitor centre, lots of maps, the woman who helped us at the desk was so friendly, knowledgeable and generous with her time describing walks we could do in winter.
