Great park. Dogs allowed. Very peaceful and sceinic. Can also fish for brown and rainbow trout. There is also great swimming in the river. Definitely a great picnic spot with ample shade and playground.

A quiet park with well maintained walk ways, its often quiet and nice here, good for morning runs and evening walks, and even a picnic when you get the chance!

The park is ideal for photography especially in autumn as most of the trees will provide a grand display as the leaves turn colour.

Excellent park area. Family friendly with playground, barbeque, toilets and walking track.

Very pleasant place to bring kids and walk dogs. Quiet and peaceful. Good place for a barbeque or lunch at the Thai restaurant which is in the axemen hall of fame.
Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through.

That special little tucked away placed you able to relax how ever you want. Plenty of seating public toilets beautiful landscapes huge barbeque shed with 4 bbq and 4 tables
under cover near the swings you cook while the kids play walk ride walk you dog . Such a wonderful place.

Easiest place to go and see wild platypus in Mersey river at dawn . Spotted this within 5 mins that morning by the bridge . 🤗

Just beautiful! Easy walking tracks, lots of bird life, can swim or kayak on the river, pavilions available and an enclosed playground.. There is much more to see including history information boards and fishing spots. Lovely place.
