I wish I could give a higher rating, the food is unbelievably awesome. The setting is elegant and peace with a great ambiance. The service is outstanding and the prices are so reasonable!. We have been there 4 times and every time been so impressed. The quality and passion they put into their food is evident with every mouthful. We will see you soon. You must try them out!

After a cold beer and delicious cocktail we enjoyed an entree for two. Although we chose different meals from an extensive mains menu we both chose different satay dishes that were so delicious, I’ll definitely try mine again sometime.

We have been wanting to go this place for quite some time and finally made it here for a dinner.

The portion was generous and it was really delicious! We really enjoyed our time. We ordered Massaman Pork Cury, Spicy Basil Beef Stir Fry, Lemon & Lime Bitter, and White Hot Chocolate in a cup. Tempted to get some entrée but the main was super fulfilling. We would definitely go back here in the future.

Absolutely brilliant! A highlight of our trip to Tasmania. It's been recently overhauled and re-opened and provides a fascinating insight into the world of competitive wood chopping. I knew very little about this before, but asking a few questions of the guy at the door revealed that he was the 1992 world champion! He then gave us a vivid guided tour and oral history of wood chopping in Tassie. I'm so glad this place exists. Highly recommend.

FYI—They have a donation box but do not take card, so bring cash! Same goes for the gift shop which, sadly, does not sell axes of any kind.

My family took me out to Thai imperial last night for my birthday and the food was just Devine the service was excellent, meals was prompt and best of all the atmosphere was awesome.

Arrived early, staff great, drinks and food served quickly, food freshly cooked and nice and hot. Good meal sizes.
Our favorite return to restaurant, been coming back for over 7 years.

The Thai Imperial Restaurant and The Makers Market are open for business but the Museum section at the Axemans Hall of Fame is closed for a few more months and is expected to reopen around Christmas, New Year. With planning underway by The Australian Axemans Association in conjunction with the Latrobe Council the Museum will return bigger and better than ever.
