Latrobe Mersey River Caravan Park

Stayed for a few night before getting back on the Spirit of Tasmania, friendly reception on check in, park was neat and clean, easy travel to the penguins, wings wildlife park, caves etc.
We had a night sail on check out and asked for options where we could park up to wait and was told we could have a late check out - At NO charge!!! Would return.

Quiet caravan park, clean facilities, short walk to town centre. Across the road from parks and river.

Easy to find once off the ferry, a short trip and all set up. Latrobe is a great little town.

Lovely little caravan park. Clean and very fair pricing. And only about 10 mins to the Spirit of Tas too.

We had a perfect stay at this great park in a very comfortable cabin, in walking distance to the main street in Latrobe and only 10 minutes from Devonport, close to the Spirit terminal.
The owner is just the perfect man for the job, he loves his park and this he shows the guests.
We for sure will return to this Caravan Park.

Travelled from UK in January. Parked our rented camper van here for a week and decided to stay for two. We were visiting our new grandson in Latrobe. Peaceful site and nightly visits from local Paddymelon and exotic birds in the trees. Bathroom and kitchen facilities very clean and well equipped. Hot showers were excellent. Friendly site manager brought us some home produce (green beans) one day. Great location next to woodland and park and cycle lane to Devonport. Highly recommend this site.

Great little park to walk your dog or just relax

Great location and friendly staff. Lovely lake view and walking track just a minute away. Bathrooms are very big and clean. We had a wonderful time. Stayed one night at power site. Highly recommended.

Owner was very polite and excellent customer service skills.
Site was very clean, with full amenities, including fully supplied kitchen, and hot showers.

Only here one night after getting off the Tasmanian ferry. We booked previously, and the owner asked for the fee upfront. We dont blame him, as people in the past have booked for a night, got in late, and left early before he could charge them for the spot. We think the upfront charge is fair and reasonable. In a lovely spot, walk to town. Easy drive through sites. Good amenities. Easy drive from the ferry terminal. We will stay longer when we return.

Stayed 3 nights grounds clean and tidy. Bathrooms one of the best i came across in the 3 weeks we stayed in Tasmania. Kitchen well set out with 3 cooking stations set up with a set of burners, kettle, toaster and microwave. Also close to boat to return to Australia. Will recommend it to others traveling to Tasmania.

Lovely little park by a river. Met with a smile by owner and able to drop a trailer off car earlier in the day and go for a drive about until we were ready to go to our suite. Comfy as double bed. Quiet. Nice shower.

Stayed in a cabin, simple but clean and cosy. All you needed in the kitchen and a pretty big bathroom. location was a 10/10 with a beautiful river walk across the road, amazing Thai restaurant a stones throw away and a nice stroll into town. We saw a few platypus, wallabies, lots of birds and cows of course. Lovely place.

Good campsite, very friendly owner. Very close to Devonport and ferry. Nice walk into town. La Trobe got everything you need perfect to start or finish your trip in Tasmania. All facilities are clean.

The wild life along the rivers and walking tracks are quite friendly to bipeds such as yourselves. Water is usually calm and mirror still.

BBQ bays and amenities at the main grounds keep.

We were on a powered site, originally booked for 3 nights, but we like it so much we stayed for 5 nights.
The host was friendly, a nice man, the staff were very helpful.

Friendly helpful staff. Drive through site which was great in a medium sized bus. Amenities were basic but clean . I stayed 2 nights and will be back again
