Our party stayed three nights in November of 2023.

Safari Lodge--we stayed in the king bed cabins (without bathrooms). They are small but very clean and comfortable. There is no air conditioning (however I believe there is ac in the cabins with ensuite bathrooms) but the ceiling fans were sufficient at night, and it is magical sleeping and waking to the sounds of the rainforest. The cabins are located near the community pool, bathroom and kitchen, which are very convenient and clean. There are also laundry machines available.

Turtle Rock Cafe--open for breakfast and lunch, with remarkably delicious, fresh, healthy food and yummy pastries and coffee. The staff here works hard and is lovely. Special shout out to Francesco, who is a gem and was so kind to us. Also thank you to Jasmine and the blond man (didn't catch his name).

Ocean Safari--we took two wonderful snorkeling expeditions. They were very different as one was during low tide and the other at high tide, and the operator tailors the location/time spent to the tide and weather conditions. We visited several reefs and spent time on a sand cay of otherworldly beauty. We loved both tours. Eliza was in the water with the party both times; Brooke was our skipper for one. They were fun, knowledgeable and professional. The reefs are healthy and beautiful and our party saw giant clams, sea turtles, a shark, countless fish.

I often bring friends from overseas and southern states to stay in the King Ensuite Cabins at Safari Lodge, and every visit has been wonderful. The staff are amazingly efficient and friendly, the cabins are modern, comfortable and clean, and the food at the cafe is delicious. Even my picky Melbourne visitors rave about the coffee! I've also done the Ocean Safari snorkelling trip a couple of times, and it's excellent. Then of course, there's the location, which of course is gorgeous.

Gorgeous campsites under the rainforest canopy. Great facilities, plus it’s own cafe. Small but well-stocked supermarket directly opposite the campground. We had a powered site which was a good size, with power and water. Be aware Cape Tribulation is not on town water, so no dump site at the grounds. A great spot to enjoy Cape Tribulation and it’s surroundings.

Beautiful campsite located in the rainforest. The bar/cafe had great food. The dubuji walk starts opposite the camp ground and is a fun walk (about 1 hour). The staff are helpful in picking a tour.

Amazing escape into the ancient Daintree rainforest with great rooms, comfy beds, and great service. Camp sites are available, powered and unpowered, excellent shower block, swimming pool and a great cafe with delicious food too.

We also went on the Ocean Safari tour to Mackay Reef which was amazing with sharks, turtles, stingrays and got to walk on a stunning sandy island!

The room (ensutie cabin) was close to perfect. Very clean, king size bed, fans and an air-conditioned for the warmer months. Cute little balcony and the facilities at the camp kitchen were perfect. The room has no wardrobe or hanging space anywhere which was a little annoying but fine for 2 nights. The location was absolutely perfect. Breakfast on site was the best in qld especially the acai bowls. There is a pub across the road and an IGA. I would 100% stay here again.
I didn't like that the payment was only taken 24 hours before check in as I was travelling before coming so it was a bit stressful. Maybe taking payment 1-2 weeks before stay is a better option.

We stayed at the cabins and used the cafe throughout our few days of stay. Good food, nice atmosphere and great service. Try the sunrise bowl for brekky for sure

Camped here for 2 nights at a powered site. The setting is really nice and quiet, surrounded by the rainforest. Short walk from the beach and there's a shop across the road. Amenities and pool were really clean. Only negative was that the Amenities were a bit far away from the campsites in the dark.

Cabins were private and bug free. At night there isn’t a lot of atmosphere (not a party place) but if you want to relax then perfect! Cafe does great coffee (coming from me from Melb) but the size is a little small (large latte should be regular size). But overall relaxing, private and cabins have all you need included. Late check in was easy too.

Beautiful area, very well designed. I stayed here in a van, on a camping lot. The bathrooms are so clean and don’t smell bad which is already much better than most camping places I’ve been to. There are warm showers, hot water and dish soap provided to clean dishes, tables to sit at, a stove to cook at. Very nice place.

Loves the little contained cabin we stayed in. And the vibes at the open camp kitchen and Cafe. The location is great. Walks and beach and pub located walking distance. Only 1 problem. We did get cold with very thin blankets provided as a cool front came through during our stay. A small problem. We would stay again if back in the area.

Second accommodation visited in the area and this is by far the best one! Amazing clean amenities, super nice dorm and friendly staff making me feel welcome. Delicious food at the cafe too. Highly recommended the haloumi brekky roll. Will visit again for sure.

Spent 2 nights on a powered site - our stay was incredibly peaceful and surrounded by the beautiful rainforest. Loved relaxing in the pool and the camp kitchen was clean, stocked with everything we needed and a good place to site and have a meal.

Had wonderful chatting with Stacey prior to arrival making us feel very comfortable in our decision to stay here. Checking in with staff was a little disappointing. Our site was 100m in from the road. Site #16 - BEST SITE EVER! SECLUDED and HUGE! With no to little pedestrian traffic. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS CARAVAN PARK. It is central to everything on offer at Cape Tribulition.

Safari lodge has wonderful amenities clean, modern and well maintained. Poolside area is picturesque and lots of gorgeous rainforest surround. Staff are friendly and helpful, cafe has delicious food and coffee. Oh and did I mention the Snorkel Safari Tour was absolutely awesome. Fun and thrilling boat ride listening to great tunes, helpful and enthusiastic guides, some of the best snorkelling I've ever done. Thank you Safari !!!
