We saw this place but didn't stop as we were more interested in the beach. Thornton Beach with a great view over Struck Island is well worth a stop. The views are gorgeous and most likely you'll be the only one here. Deserted beaches are so nice. Recommended.

Now called Thornton’s I think! This place was absolutely amazing - what a surprise to find well priced and delicious interesting food with the best view!

We stopped here on our drive for a $10 Pie + Drink which was fantastic. The pie was very fresh and tasted fantastic, staff were really friendly and the seating outside had a great view of the beach. Couldn't ask for anything more considering the remoteness of this restaurant.

Enjoyed this place as a stopover on the way to Cape Tribulation. Very friendly lady at the till. Good food at a decent price with good portion sizes. Very nice location overlooking the beach. Would recommend

Wow...wow...wow... Didn't expect this at all....Food was AMAZING... Cajun chicken cooked to perfection... Sounds like this place is hit or miss big time but it was a massive hit when i went!! Plus the fact you are rolling distance to the beach always helps on a beautiful day.

Not a lot of options for a lunch north of Daintree river, and this is probably the best one. Great food and decent coffee at a reasonable price, as long as you are not expecting Melbourne standards.

In the middle of the trip to Cape Tribulation this is a must stop for a break or a meal. The food is very very taste and not your standard fare.

Being a regular customer for the past year I can happily say that this place makes the BEST sausage rolls and pies out there. Hands down.
