An authentic and memorable stay in the middle of the rain forest, the cabins were basic but comfortable for our 2 night stay. The staff were friendly and happy to assist when needed. Breakfast was continental and the fresh bread was delicious. We dined at the restaurant on both evenings and the meals were delicious. The creek and swimming hole was a great experience. Given the opportunity we would definitely be back.

Excellent location. The cabins are set in the middle of the rainforest. Small pool on site but you can also swim in the freshwater creek that flows through the site. Restaurant on site serves very nice food.

We had a great stay. The river is a really beautiful asset to the place, it was so peaceful and refreshing. We had all we needed for a rainforest holiday and it was fun finding dvds for our evening entertainment. Staff were very welcoming.

We did not stay at the Lodge but when heading to the Daintree we always have lunch at On the Turps! The food, service and atmosphere is always top class. I rate places carefully and I could not praise the quality of this establishment highly enough. Just superb 🙏

Staying at this lodge was a real highlight in our trip. You're literally right in the thick of it...with so many animals and birds going about their daily lives. The stream that runs through this place is amazing and I highly recommend exploring it if you get the chance - the water is so clear and the vegetation is lush beyond words. The staff are really friendly too. The only thing that I would suggest to improve upon is the breakfast...some hard boiled eggs would be a great addition. We loved this place and will be back next year.

Absolutely stunning.
This was one of the best accomodations I’ve ever been. From the host Vicky (absolutely lovely, who will help you with everything you need), over to the great food, friendly staff and of course the surroundings. We have been in the Daintree for a couple days to explore it a little, but the place we loved the most, was the lodge with it beautiful creek in the back where you can swim. We can definitely recommend it to everybody and we will recommend it to friends back home that they have to go and stay there. It’s like living in a fairytale.

Our stay at the Heritage Lodge was a wonderful experience.
While the cabins are old (80s), they are well-maintained with updated furniture and spotlessly clean. More importantly, each set of cabins is immersed in lush rainforest surroundings and wildlife.
The restaurant serves excellent food for lunch and dinner in a beautiful space above the creek. While breakfast is included, it is fairly basic fare (e.g. wheatbix and filtered coffee).
What truly made our stay exceptional was the service. All the staff were happy, helpful, polite and assisted us in every capacity.
I looked at quite a bit of similarly priced accommodation, and the Heritage Lodge is the best you'll find in the Daintree.

Really enjoyed our stay. We loved taking advantage of what the Heritage had to offer. They gave us a bag with umbrella and torch which was greatly appreciated and choice of whatever DVDs. Happy Hour was great and staff were very friendly.

Only stayed one night, wish we had time to stay another. Comfy clean cabin, they supplied extra beds for our kids which was great. Lush tropical gardens and swimming in the creek on the property was incredible! That was a highlight of our stay, so good!

We chose Cooper Creek at the Heritage Lodge as our location for our elopement, and we couldn't have been happier. We had to postpone our initial booking at the last minute, but Vicki and her team were incredibly accommodating and happy to make it work for us. Due to the change of date, we thought we had missed out on the Honeymoon suite, but were given a surprise upgrade to this beautiful room after checking in. All the staff were keen to go above and beyond to make sure our ceremony went ahead as planned, even helping out with some take-away brekky the morning of. The dinner we had at the restaurant was also ridiculously delicious! We can't wait to go back and be able to spend more time at the Lodge to better explore the walks and creek.

Only stayed one night and the service and rooms were amazing!
We were travelling in a large group and the service we all received was more than expected.
Had dinner at the lodge and the food was very tasty. The waitress, Tulli (I think) was super friendly.
Breakfast was lovely!
If I'm back up in the Daintree I'll be staying here again.

We had a lovely stay here! The staff were all really accommodating and approachable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the setting was just amazing! It was so fun being cut off from the outside world (and the DVD collection really brought it back!) The food at the restaurant was also fantastic! Definitely a highlight of our trip to the Daintree!

What a hidden gem! Gorgeous setting hidden away within the rainforest, with its very own creek running below, giving a tranquil setting to dine alongside with the sounds of the forest and creek. The swimming hole is so beautiful and refreshing with clear blue water and friendly fish and turtles to see.
Loved our little cabin room surrounded by lush greenery and falling asleep to the sounds of the forest🥰
We enjoyed an evening stroll down the drive with the torch provided, spotted insects and glowing mushrooms! The muskrats we spotted on arrival were cool too and the Ulysses Butterflys were a real treat to spot.
Vicki and her team were very acommadating, and the food perfect.
Heritage lodge helped make our first experience in the Daintree wonderful. Only dissapointed we couldn't stay longer! Looking forward to returning one day!

We stumbled across this amazing little place and although we didn’t stay there, we did have lunch and are so glad that we did! The food here is next level amazing. Our entire group talked about this food for days. I personally had the steak and can honestly say, It was the best I have ever had! Melt in your mouth, deliciously seasoned, taste sensation! Well done! We will be back!

Delightful overnight stay at this hidden gem in the Daintree rainforest. Cabins are rustic and clean. Fun paths and swimming holes to explore. Can easily spot the musky rat-kangaroos shuffling around in the morning and hear the various birds up in the canopy.

Vicki and her staff are amazing. They work so well as a team, their top priority is giving great service on limited staff due to covid. The chef is absolutely superb, cooking amazing meals for lunch and dinner seven days a week. If your wanting to escape from your normal routine and relax with limited internet, peace and quiet well this is the place to be. Happy hour between 5-6 is well worth it by the pool overlooking the swimming hole. Thank you to Vicki and the staff for making my holiday a beautiful experience. Perfect place to come away and grieve for your love one. I don’t want to leave.

The location was perfect- right in the rainforest with a swimming hole on the property. While it was very warm (Oct), the rooms have been designed to maximise airflow so we found we stayed cool even without the air con running.
It was dry season so the creek was low but still found a section deep enough to have a dip.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, albeit slightly expensive. However, you can understand this given how remote the Daintree is- getting food in and out would obviously come at a cost.
The lovely ladies who served at the restaurant deserve a special mention- they were all so helpful, enthusiastic and friendly.
