Myself and my partner have had an awesome experience building our first home through emerald. From start to finish the communication and attention to detail have been flawless. From getting updates weekly through emails with photos attached and phone calls to make life easier have been awesome. To the team at emerald that have been there every step to help us understand everything, being our first home myself and my partner being absolutely clueless and them helping us understand everything has made it an easy process for us. To Matt and Lia the owners for being very professional and honest through out the build has built a good trust between myself and my partner. If you’re looking to build a home with ease and an excellent finished product I would highly recommend you build through emerald developments. ☺

We are nearing the end of our build journey, and the support we have received week in and week out has been nothing short of amazing. 12 months ago construction started on our new home and 6 months later we had handover of our new home. From the start, the sales team were gracious in answering our never ending questions and visits to the beautiful display home while we made our decision on the best design for our family. Once the build started, we loved the weekly construction updates that included progress photos and what was on the agenda for the upcoming weeks. Open communication with the team meant the whole experience ran smoothly and we were never unsure of how the build was coming along. We thank Matt, Lia and the whole team at Emerald, who were committed to making the build process as seamless as possible and delivered a gorgeous home for our family.

Emerald Developments have been such a joy to work with. From the moment we stepped into their display home, we've been very impressed with their exceptional customer focus and high quality of work. Our build has progressed so quickly and smoothly. The team have kept us up to date with their weekly construction updates and photos, which makes it feel so exciting as first home owners to see it really coming together!

Building our first home through Emerald currently. Process thus far has been fantastic, all the ladies in the office I've dealt with have been nothing but helpful. We have Matt as our supervisor and he's been fantastic, has a good eye for quality. The build itself is progressing quickly and as a Tradie I'm impressed with the fit and finish. The frame is straight and square, and studs are planed/ packed so all the Gyprock looks fantastic including the ceiling. Certainly leagues above the volume builders in quality.

We have been so impressed with Emerald Developments and their service. Every single touch point has exceeded our expectations. We had been through the house plan customisation process with two builders before Emerald (and paid them a non-refundable deposit), but the first builder couldn't get the plans anywhere close to right and the second builder promised us everything in our budget and then quoted six figures higher than our budget.
We were just about ready to sell our land and give up on building when we went to Emerald Development's display home at the North Harbour display and Cheryl took meticulous notes of what we wanted. We wanted a multi-generational home and we took one of Emerald Development's standard house layouts and made a few simple changes and we were able to achieve the perfect layout for us.
There were no silly costs added just to move a wall here or there, everything was done based on what would actually cost the builder to change and anything that wouldn't cost to change just got done.
Cheryl made suggestions throughout this process that really helped us work out what we should spend our budget on, and what could be done after market.
Once construction started these guys didn't muck around. The house went up so fast and I was relieved to see the roof on before major wet weather arrived.
There were no surprise variations, in fact the only variations we had at all were at our request, other than a driveway widening which was suggested to us as an option and we accepted. No hidden costs whatsoever.
My husband and I are both in the construction industry so we have seen our fair share of cowboy builders. We were really nervous about getting a builder we could trust. We have found Matthew and his team to be honest and helpful, and happy to discuss any concerns we had along the way.
Every Friday we have had a construction progress update, usually with photos and each week we are reassured at the progress.
No build goes perfectly but where there were any issues Matthew had already noticed them and had the solution on the way when we raised it. He was even happy for us to have our own QA inspector do checks throughout the build process and anything raised was dealt with straight away without any push back.
We would often drive past the build on weekends and see trades working on our home, and our place is on track to be delivered approx 5 months ahead of the contract completion date.
We couldn't be happier. Everyone told us building would be really stressful but we have had zero stress throughout the whole process.

We purchased a display home from Emerald Developments recently and WOW, we have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the product and especially with the professionalism and helpfulness of every member of the team that we have dealt with (before and after the purchase). Special thanks for Matthew, Cheryl and Clint. We would buy another home from these guys in a heart beat.

This is the first time I’ve built a new home and I could not be happier. From the very start of the process talking to the sales team to start the building journey it has been such a pleasure. The team are friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole building process wonderful. From great communication with any unforeseen changes, to weekly general updates with pictures to keep us in the loop of how the build was progressing. Their attention to detail has been great with them fixing any minor imperfections spotted in the final walkthrough quickly, handing over an amazing new family home. I can not recommend emerald developments enough and if the day comes that I am in ever building another home I will be choosing them again.

I was fortunate enough to use Emerald Developments for my recent home build. I was blown away by their frequent communication throughout my build with weekly personalised email updates to let me know what had happened that week and what was coming up next week. It gave me so much confidence to have all the information regularly so I was never left wondering or following up because they were always so proactive. I was able to share the updates with family and friends who were also following the building progress and were also impressed with the personalised information coming through.

You can tell they genuinely care about their customers with the approach they take and the effort they go to to ensure you are satisfied. I have officially moved in and LOVING it and extremely happy and I am super impressed with the after care as I am still being contacted to check everything is going well.

Building with Emerald has been an absolute dream! Our journey started with the ever helpful and friendly Cheryl in sales. We have received clear and transparent updates from the construction team the whole way through. The construction itself has been methodical and expeditious. We couldn’t be happier with the hard work and kindness that the whole Emerald team have put in and we are very much looking forward to making the house our home.

I have built 2 previous houses in Qld and I must say, dealing/building with Emerald is the best decision we have made to date re: housing. Great communication, great supervision and quality of work. To date, everything has happened on time. Looking forward to getting our keys soon

Building a home, can be a very frustrating and emotional roller coaster, you hear every day of bad experiences, people losing their savings etc. We have built 7 homes in the past and must say, Dealing with Matt and the wonderful team at Emerald constructions, has been a dream come true. Everything is done in the time frame specified, great communication from the admin team and the builder Matt. We have visited the site unannounced numerous times and the trades say working for emerald is awesome, can't say I've heard that many times in my life.

Well done Emerald Developments and we look forward to getting our keys very soon.
