Bendigo Bank Newcastle

Have visited Bendigo bank Newcastle branch four times in recent months.
Each time staff have been consistently courteous, efficient, knowledgable and helpful, and have made sure my banking needs have been met.
This high standard of service is much appreciated.

Went in this morning with my husband to open a joint account and had Lauren she was so helpful explained everything to us went above and beyond. Will be dealing with her again. A+++

Lauren and Yvonne both went above and beyond to help me with my particular banking problems. Fantastic service and even better people.

I've read the reviews below, and there definitely seems to be a problem with customer relations, so please Bendigo, lift your game!

Incompetent, rude, arrogant. Best decision during our banking relationship was to close accounts and leave. Well done Nova

The staff here are rude this is a new branch and is not reflective of all branches most of them go out of there way to assist you and this bank I have been a customer for over 25 years these staff winge about taking coins of you which are bagged into correct denominations and amount all they have to do is weigh it and push a button to put the amount into my acct and they want to winge it's costing them money everytime I've been in there ,I have not seen a single customer makes you wonder why would not be recommending anyone use this branch they are rude and unprofessional and then to top it of I'm 90% sure I give them $160 in note and 100% sure and know I gave them $180 in $1 coins which adds to $340 but only 300 went into acct I believe the reason they treated me this way is because I am a pensioner and don't dress flash and live week to week there for they make no money from me and they don't have to worry about me going there anymore would rather spend a couple of hours on a train and go to a branch in Sydney rather than deal with these rude people and it is not just one but all of them right from the start you speak to some one at front counter named Lauren who only seems interested in sitting there and answering phones than any thing that involves actual work and then the others come out to see what your up to and start complaining

This branch is part of the reason a good friend of mine committed suicide about 3 weeks ago due to how they treated and spoke to him and then put it all on him and made out he was abusive and aggressive which wasn't what happened not to mention he only just finished speaking to a complaints officer half hour prior as this wasn't the first time they had been rude and aggressive on three prior occasions not good from a bank that is meant to be a community branch for the people Don't Bank With them People or you will be disappointed you didn't listen

I would not recommend this bank I went in there about 3 weeks ago to find out information about opening an acct being a community bank and meant to be about the little people instead found the staff rude and think discriminatory and maybe racist as I am dark tanned I think they thought I was indigenous and wanted nothing to do with me so I ended up saying don't worry about it and left as I felt uncomfortable in this branch
