Impeccable brunch at The Goose. Within the city but away from all the crowds, this lovely cafe is a fabulous spot to indulge in quality coffee and many delicious brunch options. The staff were so lovely and the vibes were great! Felt like we were back at a quality Melbourne cafe.

Best Cafe ever! Came to Cairns on a work trip and found this gem close by. The service, food, coffee and atmosphere were top tier, so I visited three days in a row pretty much as soon as it opened its doors. It was my most anticipated meal of the day!! I tried the pecorino crisp (cheesy mushrooms), avo toast and smoked duo (salmon with heirloom tomatoes) and an ice latte in sunny Cairns is a must. Not to mention their smoothies were also delicious, so I also bought that on the go almost every day to keep hydrated.

Exactly what I would expect from a late brunch, food here is pretty good. Most of them cooked in a proper way. And a good brunch always comes with a fair price.

Thick and milky strong coffee, mushroom is good, avocado is properly flavoured. Salmon is nicely marinated but it tastes too tight, maybe over cooked a bit. The fried tofu isn’t good enough compared to others cuz it is tasteless in the middle. Maybe cut it a bit smaller, and add more salt and stuff when coating them.

Overall, a brunch would be missed. Would recommend

We came here today for breakfast which was one of the best decisions that we made today.

The staff were friendly and the food was amazing.

I got the chilli beans and the portion was larger than I expected and it was priced reasonably. For the chilli beans it had a subtle layer of spice to it which was quite nice and I was not interested in starting my day sweating from the spice.

The other dish my wife ordered, sorry I forgot the name of it however she enjoyed it quite alot.

Very cozy cafe, there are many seats in the cafe, you can choose to stay inside or outside on the street. the staff are very friendly
I ordered one chili beans and one flat white
Food is very tasty and fresh
Coffee is very good as well
Atmosphere is very comfortable
I spent three hours here enjoy a good time

The food and coffee we had at goose was superb. The presentation was beautiful and my mushroom breakfast had a lovely garlicky flavour. They were well seasoned and the beetroot dressing was also delicious. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with ordering at the counter. Great cafe!

Outstanding coffee and food. I've never seen syphon coffee offered commercially before but they have it here! The manager explained the entire process for us as well!

We order the V60 and again provided and experience that I've never seen before... They offered two different cups to sip out of for a very different taste - one smooth and the other acidic, just because of the cup! Wow!

The food was excellent - very generous portions and very tasty. I had the Avo Toast and a side of bacon (the most bacon I've seen as a side!). The rest of the table enjoyed the Karaage Sandwich and omelets.

Very nice cafe only a few minutes walk from the Cairns hospitals.

Breakfast Roll is pretty good.
Eggs Benedict is also fantastic.

Coffee is well made, smooth and for a mocha / hot chocolate, the staff add the chocolate powder to your milk before frothing and it definitely makes the drink taste fantastic :)

Enjoyed a delicious coffee with a ham & cheese croissant. This cafe is a little gem! Great spot to take a break.

Friendly team with really yummy food options and also some great coffee. I had a V60 pour over and enjoyed it very much, along with a chicken burger for lunch. The potion size was good, and the burger tasty. Would come back again if I was in the area.

An oasis for good coffee! I had a Magic which was delicious, the best coffee I've had in Cairns. The egg and bacon muffin was also excellent. Vibes are 10/10. Will definitely be coming back.

Very good coffee, Melbourne good. The folded eggs were fantastic with some avocado that was perfectly seasoned. Went back again next day, just as good. Friendly unobtrusive team with quiet smiles. Relaxed and chilled atmosphere.

Pretty good coffee, from a Melbourne standards POV. The food is good. The eggs benny is fantastic. Definitely refreshing to get a toasted bread opposed to some ridiculously tough sourdough that feels like you have to cut through it with a chainsaw.
Highly recommend this place.

People are nice and the food very good ,they have air conditioning inside and free water for drinking,they also sell some coffee machines and tool ,i am here with my friends have a nice lunch time .

One of the best cafes in Cairns! Amazing staff and ambience, with some of the most delicious coffee I've ever had! Food is awesome as well! This place is a must visit for anyone in Cairns!
