Hornsby Beijing Duck Restaurant 正宗北京烤鸭

It doesn't get any better, you can go to fancier restaurants and pay a lot more but you will never get better duck. Chilli beef dish is also fantastic. 10/10. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The food is fantastic and the homely feel of the restaurant is great.

The duck is probably the best I have had and every other dish I have had there is equally as good.

The service is so good that on lunar New Year my son left his red pocket with a fair sum of money in it behind after dinner and the owners had it there for me to collect next day - very honest and very kind.

Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

Authentic Beijing duck roasted freshly and thinly sliced in front of you by the chef. Almost like art work. Starts with the super crispy skin that melts in your mouth with sugar. Then wrap the rest of the meat and skin together with spring onion, cucumber, and the secret sweet bean sauce(Tian mian jiang) with steamed pancakes(Chun bing). Last, the duck soup! Flavour is rich yet refreshing. Very fulfilling and stratifying meal. Highly recommend and will be returning. Ops, ate too fast and forgot photos. Will update when I visit next time.

Atmosphere is great. It’s even got sticky tables and a grumpy waitress. Everything you want from a genuine Chinese restaurant.

They have delicious traditionally prepared duck, and are a popular destination for other Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner. There is indoor seating as well as takeaway.

Went today, that location has had MANY restaurants come and go but this one looks like it will stay. Pretty damn good Chinese food and the guy is pretty friendly. Yeah it's not super fancy or elegant but the food? Yeah I'm 400% returning to try the other items on the menu. Hard to find Chinese of this level around Hornsby.

As a Beijingnese, the roast duck here is very good. It maintains the traditional way of cutting and serving the duck. We are lucky to be able to have quality dishes from my hometown in the neighbourhood.

It's been hard to find a more authentic Beijing/Peking duck in Sydney. Duck was good, cut and seasoned in Beijing style (with some meat and some skin in each piece vs the more typical Cantonese style with just the skin).
For take away at least they even give the bones for soup which is the proper way!
Note: there is parking at the back of the building! Go down the driveway on the side (not underneath as there are only very few spaces there).

Smaller restaurant, nothing flashy, just excellent duck and a relaxed atmosphere. Will be back soon!

Really good roast duck (from a non-beijing Chinese’s point of view). Friendly/homely service like the kind you would get from northern China uncles.

俩人吭哧吭哧从Wolli Creek坐火车来吃的，没白跑一趟

强烈建议堂食，烤鸭是现烤的，要提前预订，这样到了之后正好烤好可以吃。烤鸭肉香皮脆，入口即化。我在悉尼吃过好几家，这家真的是最正宗最好吃的。

另外鸭架子可以打包带走，回去自己可以煮大白菜鸭架汤，配合粉丝豆泡鸭血等配料，眉毛都要鲜得掉下来。

匠心精神，不断坚持自己的原则，把烤鸭做到了极致。大家知道的悉尼的北京烤鸭店基本都称不上正宗北京烤鸭，但是这里绝对是的一试！不会枉费大家跑那么远l xxx北京顶级厨师出品！

非常好吃的烤鸭。堂食的，鸭子现片成薄片，老板还会给出建议的吃法。椒盐鸭架尤其推荐，太香了。性价比高。推荐大家都去试试。

非常正宗的北京烤鸭，现烤现片，说真的比北京的全聚德还要正宗好吃。说不好吃的应该都是其他烤鸭店吧哈哈哈。
