Cafe Metz

Brilliant breakfast. The best we've had in years. We had their BMW with grilled Haloumi, bacon, poached egg & the most amazing pesto sauce scattered over the top. Every element executed perfectly. Absolutely delicious! Clear signage at the front for ordering. Dog friendly around the veranda. Coffee to the table in record time even though they were fairly busy.

Really nice cafe in Canungra. The staff are lovely and friendly, the food and drinks were delicious and were served super fast! Lots of options on the menu and they even tailor made a fresh juice for me which was really tasty. There's seating inside and outside, and a good amount of parking at the back of the cafe as well, which is great when you're on a motorbike. We'll definitely be back.

Canungra is largely a biker town, hence the bike brands on the main menu. The cafe located right in the middle of main street with a nice 360 background view of the Lamington Mountains.

The coffee and sweets taste great. The shop is run by young and lovely staff. If you don’t mind the occasional vibrations, (levelled wood floors) sitting outside is a lot better.

I will comeback for a full breakfast next time. 👍

Absolutely wonderful 😊 A warm greeting from each staff member who sees you which was lovely! The menu has a great array of choices, we were there for Brunch! The service was so quick, under 10mins and it was all delicious and filling! The coffee was great they use Merlo and the large is a good size! It was busy even at 10am on a Tuesday so I'd definitely recommend booking if you were planning on going during a peak time! Would highly recommend and definitely be back!

Great Cafe, gorgeous vibe with a lovely indoor/outdoor set-up & view over the park area. Food & coffee was amazing. Will be adding to our regular cafe's to visit locally.

Wow! What a lovely place to stumble upon! From the moment we entered the friendliness and homely feel was obvious. The staff were relating openly and with joy. The patrons seemed comfortable and at ease.
We ordered some good to take away, coffee and a big breakfast to share to have in. All arrived within 10-15 mins! The breakfast to share was also presented on 2 separate plates which was a pleasant surprise. The coffee was good and extra hot as requested. Some finer cups would have been the icing on the cake. Food and service a 5 Star rating!
Love this place. Would certainly come again and have no hesitancy in recommending this as your cafe of choice for inside or outside dining. 👍

If you like a big but healthy breakfast you’ll love it here like I did. The freshest avocado topped with crumbles of feta and a drizzle of balsamic. Well made coffee too. All yum.

Absolutely loves our brunch here, a great array of options on the menu, we ordered chicken bacon cheese filo and the BMW, yummy.

Their service was great & so fast!!! Within 10-15mins we had our order. I had the burger which was huge & tasty. My partner had chips & a toasted sandwich on gluten free bread. Recommend coming here on your way to walking alpacas or checking out wineries nearby.

Great lunch at this cafe. I had the steak sandwich and needless to say, I did not go home hungry. As it was my friend's birthday, I also ordered a piece of carrot cake. All three staff members came over and sang her happy birthday. So lovely and they were pleasant and friendly..
I booked a table inside and I am glad I did...it gets busy at lunchtime so if you want to sit inside make sure you book.

Amazing staff, they're all so nice and very helpful, the food is great and the servings are big! Also a great vibe and feel to the place.

Great customer service they have a large menu with lots of options they offer lower priced burgers but also offer higher priced burgers but definitely pay for what you get here.

The meals are large they are generous with the amount of chips you get while at this cafè we ordered the Full Tank Burger (Works Burger) the Veggie Burger and Bowl of chips the food was fantastic and they delivered the meal definitely within a responsible time.

Great food and coffee at the right price. We had the Canadian pancakes and a big brekky, good portion sizes and presentation. Will be going back for sure. Very welcoming staff! Lots of bikes to look at if you head out there on a Sunday morning!

We stopped her on our way from Ipswich to the Gold Coast, a gorgeous little town. The food here at Metz Cafe was absolutely beautiful ❤ thanks guys! We'd definitely come back

Great little cafe as you pass through the lovely town of Canungra. Staff are always very friendly with a smile and they serve the best Merlo coffee and freshly baked sweets. Best to come on a weekday as the weekends are very busy. Great work guys.

Great little place and highly advised for some breakfast and brunch. Place was clean and welcoming, staff was efficient and nice, food was great, what else to say! Awesome!
