I stayed for one night on 9 September 2023. Check-in was easy and Sam ( bar staff) was friendly and responsive. The room itself was perfect simple but clean. It was one of the best sleeps I have ever had in a hotel the pillows and bed were amazing. The food was delicious. I would recommend it as a place to stay.

Place was packed for Fathers day. Table booked for 1300, walked out w v full tummies at 1400. Food was soooo yummy n plentiful. Well done to the chefs n the friendly staff we encounter every time we come to The Canungra pub for a lunch feed. Water is cold and filtered, the garlic bread has to hv cheese n bacon on top, was like a pizza, lvit, u guys rok! The associated photos are from 2 lunchtime visits to TCH. Both equally impressive occasions.

This place is awesome, food and customer service. Been there the last 2 days for lunch with friends and no disappointment. We came to Canungra showgrounds a few weeks ago for 1 night. Our travel plans have changed so we said we will come back to stay in this beautiful town 💖

Lovely older style pub.

Went to the bistro for a meal with friends and family. Menu is pretty good with a big variety of selections.
The wood fired pizza's looked great and were made and delivered in reasonable time.
Steak was cooked very well also.

Absolutely fabulous food at the Cunungra hotel in this vibrant village nestled in the hills under the mountain. Great pub, excellent beers and wine, fabulous food - so so good and readily accessible thru great service by local staff.
I got stuck into my seafood chowder before I even gave a thought to any photo. The Mango chilli prawn salad was excellent - so good 5 stars.

Thought we’d check out this iconic looking pub for lunch and we certainly were not disappointed. A nice relaxed atmosphere sitting outside in the beer garden with scenic views and there was plenty of amazing sounding dishes on the menu which were reasonably priced. We ordered the southern fried chicken and the macadamia crusted grilled snapper which tasted delicious! Very impressed! The bar staff were super friendly yet professional. I highly recommend this pub as there’s something for everyone here. Ticked all our boxes, we will be back!

Bloody fantastic counter meals in the public bar for lunch Monday to Saturday. Highly recommend the drive for the $15 steaks, absolutely delicious. Plus there's beer, a great beer garden, friendly staff, good service and it's a really nice township to visit to boot 👍

Update: now they have a great selection of hot sauces for the counter meals too ❤

Update 05/07/22: counter lunches are now $20 but still great value
