Warringah Medical & Dental Centre

I was on a holiday from the states and needed to see a doctor fast for skin infection. We didn’t know that the medical center doesn’t accept walk-ins. The reception desk was able to find a doctor with availability within two hours of us walking in. The doctor was very professional, explained everything and gave me prescription for antibiotics. Pharmacy is by the entrance and got my medication right away. The whole experience was very positive! Highly recommend it.

I have visited Warringah Medical Centre to see Dr Richard Sacks twice and each time found the doctor to be personable, knowledgeable and thorough. He takes time, seems genuinely interested and I have left feeling like a human rather than a number. My experiences with the pathologists and technicians have been good, with short wait times. In-house chemist is also a plus.

I’m just here to echo the great reviews of this practice and Dr Sacks.
The booking process is simple online, I rarely experience waiting times and love that Dr Sacks is quite often on an early shift, allowing me to book my appointments before my work day commences.
Dr Sacks is empathetic, professional and kind. I never feel rushed.

As patients, we left our old high cost practice in Manly, where we had long waits, short exams and no answers to medical situations, and have NEVER looked back! Warringah Medical & Dental Centre took my children's symptoms seriously, spent time examining and actually ran tests! They diagnosed my daughter's now confirmed chronic conditions, which our old practice never took seriously, and we can pick up her medicine in the in-site pharmacy, They treated my son today, completely solving his medical situation on-site in their comprehensive treatment facility. If you are looking for true, patient-centred care that delivers real results, this is the place to go.

@Daniel Phillips, I just read your review of Dr Kevin Rhee and he sounds fantastic. I've got a booking with him this weekend and the condition of my teeth sound similar to what yours were so it looks like I made the right choice in picking Dr Rhee.

On another note, today i saw podiatrist Paul Boccanfuso for a wound on my foot that was not healing. After explaining why that was the case, Dr B cleaned it all up and dressed it before writing a note to my GP Dr Sid Neekan, in the same centre, detailing the ongoing treatment.

Dr Boccanfuso was a delight to deal with and didn't shame me for not taking care of my feet.

Dr Neekan is always a pleasure to deal with.

In the past 6 months I've also had dealings with Dr Green, Dr Saw and Dr Tu as well as the nursing staff in the treatment room who were also very affable.

Years ago Dr Brodski did a small operation on my hand and he was impeccable.

Overall I'd have to say I've been extremely happy with the care I've received over the years but especially since June of last year.

I lived in North Curl Curl for 3 years up to 14 months ago & all GPs were very good. This review is about Dental: specifically, Dr Kevin Rhee & his team, all of whom are excellent & will always be my Dental providers as long as I live in Sydney. They’ve always done excellent work on my incredibly old & damaged teeth. In December 2023 it got better: I finally got much needed & long overdue dentures for the first time, at age 50. Dr Rhee is superb & the process was astonishingly painless. I had 10 (ten!) remaining teeth removed on the same visit I got my dentures. I’ve had 3 (very quick & simple) “check up” visits since & they were all included in the amazingly low price. I’m very fortunate. The work is superb. It actually functions & within 6 weeks I can chew. I now live in the CBD but will always come back here for Dental for the next 10 years I live in Sydney until I retire. Dr Rhee & his team have enabled me to eat, smile, talk and function again, properly, to a level of quality I never expected I would get to achieve & actually experience at the age of 50. Luke feels like the only Dr I’ve had that really cares. No disrespect to the others. I speak to him the same as I would a friend and he remembers my name. His help with his sports knowledge has been amazing

I'm on holiday from the UK and I was treated at the surgery by Dr Alan Kim for a chest infection. The service and treatment I received was first class. If only I could receive the same standard of treatment with my own doctor in the UK on the NHS.

The waiting times have been greatly reduced and it is now a pleasure to go there.
Dr Sacks is my preferred GP and his dedication from diagnosis through to follow up and through is second to none. I feel he has a genuine interest in my total well being.

Dr Michael Johnston is an excellent GP and also extremely knowledgable on all aspects of medicine, especially his interest in skin matters. He friendly manner and clear explanations makes it easy for patients to discuss all issues, including sensitive ones with the knowledge that he will always answer questions truthfully

Excellent services from Dr Susan Wong is always busy so I usually book through hiotdoc iyoi can see her availability ts quick easy and convenient I have seen other GPs when she is booked out and the GPs have all provided excellent experiences.including the nurses.

The Forhealth hotdoc app Fast forward 6 months I can no longer access Forhealth hot doc app to book. I did a review on trustpilot stating my ongoing disappointing issue and inconvenience I now face booking an appointment to find my phone doesn't meet the minimum requirement of Android 8 as my phone updated to 10. In saying that tI can still receive an email hotdoc appointment from the receptionist and it gives me the option to save it in my calendar is great. Thats when I have gone in to book an appointment as its difficult to get through when I call as receptionist usually two present iare veru busy with customers that are present. I work fulltime to book t hrough hotdoc myself I can no longer do.

Great experience with Dr Frederick Gudex! Felt so comfortable chatting with him! Did my skin checkup with Dr Gudex and he was so nice and caring which I really liked. He doesn’t rush you and he takes the time to take care of his patients. 10/10

Warm professional welcome from reception staff. Great safe and hygenic environment. And a fabulous range of doctors - all of whom have bios online and you can book online too. Importantly doctors run on time!

Dr Cindy Chan was wonderful, thorough, very personable and caring. Basically an old school
physician from a young doctor, hard to find and highly recommended

Reception was effortless and helpful.
Doctor was helpful and kind.
Cleaner environment.
I found that disabled patients had to queue up among others to see the receptionist was heart breaking.
Older patient behind me, offered her my place twice and she refused to take it.
She was walking with two walking sticks. I wish they can sit and wait with out losing their place.
Mean time very quickly everyone was attended.
I believe should be a priority que for older patients.

Very pleased the Medical Centre & Pharmacy were open on Anzac Day.Quick medical attention given in a professional manner.

Dr Shaun Teo is an amazing young GP and made me trust in the medical centre again. He takes time to understand issues and educate his patient, share where to find reliable information and be proactively healthy. I’ve never had a specific GP but as I age, Dr Teo will be my regular GP. He is often available even on Sundays. Appointments can run late but I believe that Dr Teo values quality of healthcare over quantity of appointments. happy to wait for the right care.

I've been attending this facility for a number of years now with Dr Sacks becoming my regular GP and I would recommend both the practice and Dr Sacks highly. With online booking, waiting seems to be minimal now, and I would say waiting more than 5 mins from appointment time is rare. I've had excellent thorough care at all times and am very satisfied.

Based on my last visit my view has dramatically changed, I checked in via the touch screen service, it was easy to use, the doctor was on time and the staff were helpful and friendly.
