We had lunch on last Saturday. I made a phone call to book a table and asked for preorder a dessert if it’s possible to write some words for decoration would be great. It has been 5 years since I left home and my mum visited me for just few days in Australia. Thank you so much to let us having a such great memory here!

Great meal got Valentine's and our 4 year anniversary, Peter too good care of us and the food was amazing. My gf said the mushroom risotto was the best she had ever had. Sarah said she would ditch me for the risotto chef 🤣

This place is good to see for Italian food. Pizza was very good. There is nothing special for kids, though. It will be a better option for a couple. Price is everage

Absolutely love the pasta and risotto! We got the risotto funghi and the fettuccine marinara, sauces are very well done with generous amount of ingredients! Also tried the lasagne and meat lovers pizza which were good but we thought they werent as outstanding as the fettucine and risotto. Overall a very lovely and chill place, and make sure to book because they can get really busy!

We came for a celebratory lunch yesterday. We hadn’t been for a few years as we lived interstate and remembered our last experience as fabulous.
We were not disappointed. The service was exemplary and the food was everything we remembered it to be. Traditional home cooked Italian food with bags of flavour and good portion sizes at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very much like a typical trattoria and adds to the wonderful experience that is Marinara. We will definitely be back.

Have been here a dozen or more times and every time the food is fantastic and flavourful. The service is always friendly and genuine. Given how busy they are, it can feel a little cramped, but I imagine that adds to the atmosphere for some - otherwise the restaurant has a great vibe. For the quality of food provided, the prices are very reasonable.

We ordered the Don Carlos pasta and Garlic pizza bread. Both were fantastic and the atmosphere was pleasant. It looks like they've opened it up a bit more as it appears to have more room.

I took my Tassie friends to dine here. Pasta is the best I ever had. Pizza has fresh ingredients. Deserts nice. Recommended.

Cosy on a cold night with a friendly atmosphere. We arrived early evening and probably should have booked but they kindly squeezed us in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A more European approach with lots of choices and options. My son's lasagna was great and my mushroom risotto was lovely. The coffee was good and the dessert choices were varied. Would definitely return with a large or small group and family. Really enjoyed it.

A slice of Italy in Brisbane! The decor and location is so cosy. The waiter who greeted us also has great humour and added to the impeccable vibes of the restaurant. We ordered the marinara pasta (of course) and the nepolitana pizza, with a side of garlic bread. Pasta was ON POINT. So saucy, flavourful and comforting. Good amount of seafood as well. Don't forget to ask for pepper 😉 We left laughing with our bellies full. Will definitely be coming back in future!

I came here for my Birthday and I could not reccomend it more - service has been excellent, food has been to die for, and even sat facing away from the interior the atmosphere was really pleasant. I'll be a returning customer for sure 🌟

One of the best/authentic Italian food I've tried ever with generous portion sizes and great cocktails!

After many recommendations from colleagues, I decided to try Marinara on a fine Sunday afternoon. Greeted by friendly staff and a great layout that feels like a sneak peak and step into Italy.

The menu has a fine selection of starters, pizzas and pastas at decent prices compared to other Italian restaurants. I ordered the Fettuccine Carbonara and the Margherita Pizza which came out and onto our table within minutes. The creamy texture is considered, personally, one of the best I've tasted in a while with flavours all captured and enough cheese to make me smile. Would have loved to see more mushrooms (mushroom lover here); however, definitely understandable if supply issues and rising costs are a factor. The pizza was fresh and full of cheesy goodness, crispy and delicious until the very last piece.

Overall, extremely good and fast service with friendly staff. Food portions were perfect and had a great lunch. Definitely recommend for families are friends wanting to catch up over a delicious Italian meal.

Delicious food and wonderful service, all the staff are incredibly nice. Can get quite loud given the popularity of the restaurant and how close tables are together, but definitely worth going in a group to better enjoy the atmosphere.

Penne Amatriciana was amazing!
