The Ming Inn

Ming Inn didn’t disappoint. Food was great and service was so friendly.
I used to buy takeaway from this Chinese Aussie Family when they operated a similar place in Mitchelton. The son took my order and mentioned to his Mum that I had said I was an old customer. I ordered on a Monday night which is a quiet night and my food was ready within 10 minutes. When I collected my 3 dishes and owners came out to serve me not only did they remember my Shandy Order from years ago they also remembered my name.
Old School service is so rare these days. Please give these guys a try. If you like your food a certain way please let them know. If you have a negative experience give them a call or drop by and chat to them. They will fix it.
The restaurant itself is like it is in a time warp from the 70’s and 80’s. I’m sure eat in food would be great but not the type of place to go to if you are looking for “Ambience”.

If you can find out the chicken broth recipe from dumpling Huang restaurant in Capalaba I'll be buying in the load . It's good for my tummy with the ginger twang in it but your soups are fantastic. Thumbs up 👍👍

The Ming Inn never disappoints.Has been my go to since the lotus room closed. Highly recommend the combo chow mein, best I’ve ever had.

Great classic takeaway Chinese restaurant. Quality of food here is much more elite than others. Really enjoyed the food. Rainbow beef was our favourite.

We got Green Curry Chicken, Honey Chicken and Sate Chicken with rice, spring rolls and some prawn crackers and it was such a satisfying meal. All very tasty, exactly what I felt like. And the people are so friendly and welcoming. Relaxed and quality. Thanks!

Ordered honey fried wantons on ubereats and they're amazing! The best ones we had in Brisbane

I have always had nice food from here. Take away is our main style as dine in can be a little quiet. Would be great for a large occasion gathering.

Excellent friendly service, good communication when booking, the restaurant has a nice variety of dishes and banquets (The garlic king prawns was a big hit), child-friendly, nice atmosphere. Thank you for a memorable dinner for our baby's 1st Chinese New Year!

I walked in and instantly felt like I was in the 1970's. I walked out of the restaurant with the food and I was magically taken back to the 70's. The strangest but most interesting and breath taking experience of my life. Great food too!

We picked up sweet and sour Pork and ate at home. It was tasty and we will return to try more of their delicious food. Good price and friendly service.

Best Chinese food I can find in the area no hesitation in recommending Ming Inn.
If it's some fancy in house dinning experience you're looking for this is the wrong place, decor is typical 60's & 70's Chinese restaurant style but I go for the food and that's ALWAYS Excellent.

Really yummy, i drive past two local Chinese restaurants to go here - it’s the best.

I lived local to here then moved 10km away and still come here for the past 20yrs, have tried our local Chinese places and always regret it and go back to The Ming, In 20yrs of going there, yes we have had a couple of times that a couple of the meals were under par, but not often.

We really enjoyed our time at the Ming Inn. Great service. Food was really nice and lots of it
