Sitting alongside the river, this restaurant is a nice change of pace from the hustle, bustle, and traffic noise of the other places along Church Street. The food is good and the service was even better. Port Bar has more wait staff and they are much more attentive than the staff of other restaurants I've tried. It was nice to actually get a refill on my water. The Tiramisu was delicious!

Had a great time. The staff were very attentive and the food fantastic. Will go again I hope. Had bruschetta, antipasto plate and volcano pizza. We didn't leave anything.

I'm visiting Port Bar every time when I want to be full. Very friendly atmosphere, quite well variety of dishes and almost all people are locals.
All dishes are huge size and so tasty. I recommended this place.

Decent place to hang out at by the river. Not much of a view and ambience is by no means fancy, but it has all the essentials required on a lazy sunny Sunday arvo. Staff aren't the most attentive but they're friendly. Food is pretty good. I normally enjoy some wedges and a drink or two here as a relaxing break from the busyness of Church St.

Great place to go for a special night out and they did not disapoint. Every meal was nicely cooked even to beauitful coffee ending the evening. Very friendly and attentive staff constantly clearing the table, keeping water topped up and maintained nice conversation even with the children. Thank you team Port Bar for a wonderful first experience. We'll be back.

Is the Port Bar re-opening? Such a great venue for.dining as well as functions.

Nice place to have a dinner. I ordered lamb grill anf that was so delicuous. Desert also good. I will recomend this place to have a dinner.

Great location, right next to the Parramatta ferry. Excellent food choices - variety of options in the menu, very simple, elegant and tasty food, as well as variety of drinks on the drink menu, hot/ cold / alcoholic.

Highly recommended as a mutual meeting place for friends who reside on different sides of Sydney - great location as right on the Parramatta Ferry Wharf. Food delicious with a wide ranging menu and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and courteous. Fabulous cocktails! Friends of 40 years enjoying a 'mocktail'.

Father's Day A la Carte lunch menu was superb and absolutely delicious!
Servings were very generous and plates were brought out on point .... we will definitely be back soon and would like to thank the staff and chefs for their exceptional service.

Great spot for after work chill, casual work meeting, or any form of group gathering. Amazing friendly staff and good quality food.
(Stay away from the outside entry side if you're not a fan of cigarette smoke - it kinda drifts in from the very near smoking section. I'd move the smoking section to the far other side or gone altogether if it were me. Sorry.)

What can I say? The food was delicious. All ten of us were more than satisfied with our meals. Christy and the other staff offered great service. Thanks for a great dinner. We will be back and I will definitely be recommending Port to others.

We dropped by Port Bar Restaurant last week without making any reservation. The beautiful lady was kind enough to accommodate us. The place had a great ambiance. The seafood basket, lamb cutlets, and port salad were delicious.

Good little spot next to the Wharf for a beverage or meal before going on the ferry. Friendly locals like the sugar 😁

Health plus Chiropractic had their Christmas party at the Port Bar on Saturday night, a lovely location by the river! The food was amazing, huge servings, catering for a group of 16, the staff were so friendly with great service. Everyone had a great night and we all will definitely be back soon.

Food is delicious and service is very good as well!

Very enjoyable club sandwich, filled with chicken, bacon, egg and salad on a mayonnaise slathered Turkish style bun. It was accompanied by a generous serving of vegetable chips and a tap beer or wine. All for $16. Fantastic value.

We visited here with some friends & 6 greyhounds. They went out of their way to make sure we we're accommodated, bringing us water for the hounds. Several times when serving in our direction, they would come over & say hello to the hounds.

The food servings were tasty & good value.
