Woolworths Metro George Street

Newly opened in George Street Parramatta. Well stocked and a great collection of daily consumables. Fruits, vegetables, greens, meat, fish, egg options aplenty. Dairy product varieties available. Well organized and displayed. It's about 5 minutes walking distance from Parramatta ferry wharf.

Even though this is a Metro Woolies, it's very spacious and has all the essentials/groceries you need. It's very convenient for people like me that are in a rush for a quick lunch since all the hot foods, cold drinks, and sandwiches, salad kits and sushi are all at the front as you enter the store. Staff are approachable and kind. "On sale" items were easy to spot, and there are a lot of freezer/fridge items around the entire store.

If you come by during the early lunch break, hot foods and breads are made steamy hot & fresh.

Excellent sushi kiosk located right next to the bakery. The sushi chefs seem nice and they greet me every time I come by. I have also requested sushi once and they were happy to make it for me within 5 minutes. I never knew Woolworths could have sushi in the first place so this was a surprise to me. They seem like a legitimate business with their own website. Definitely will be coming by more during my lunch break!!

Also, this Metro has their own free 1.5 hour carpark where you can take a lift from straight up to the Metro, which is a huge plus. I'm amazed at how convenient everything is.

The location is the best part about this Metro. Sometimes I visit and buy random stuff here. It could be therapeutic and relaxing for me

Went to Woolworths yesterday and was amazed by how clean and new the shop is and the variety of products for a metro. I was served by a team member by the name Joanne and she was very nice had a nice smile and was very helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back

Have plenty to choose for quick bite like salad bowl, hot food, sushi, sandwich etc.. I love eating sushi from there. it's satisfying taste.

Finally Metro wollies here. So convenient. They also sell sushi and some hot food. It tastes good. No need to worry about lunch any more.

Just went there. I thought will be small metro shop but it’s big and spacious. Good thing is they also have bakery there. It’s right next to sushi kiosk. 🤗

Store is brand new and very clean, makes it very nice to shop in.
