Hunter Candles

These candles live up to the hype. I’ve seen some Hunter signature candles at high end restaurants and they always seem to nail the scent.

You can rely on the 50 hour burn time. It’s true! The signature pack lets you choose your own 3 candles. Amazing. Usually you’re stuck buying what the store chooses.

I’m not all the way through the candles I purchased but can highly recommend the geranium and rose petal, the strawberry gum, the Tasmanian creek and the yuzu and smoke.

I bought the baked bread and would say that was the only one that missed the mark. But that’s just my personal choice.

The one thing I would love to see is a pick up location on the lower North Shore. My favourite florist is Red Fragrance in Crows Nest. Is there any chance you could stock them there? This would save on packaging for the environment and time to from purchase to burning in my home.

Anyway I saw an Instagram post that they hand pour and apply the stickers to the candles jars. Shout out to the sticker putter onnerer you are nailing it every time!

My girlfriend and I only shop at Hunter’s on Thursdays because Gianna works then, and she is the best. So friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable about the product. She accommodated our curiosity perfectly and ensured we will come back for refills and new candles in the future. Smashed it!

I have too many Hunter candles to count. I may or may not have purchased some in hopes to give them away as gifts but ended up keeping them myself 😅. The new store on King St is easier to get to compared to the previous showroom but it’s just as fab.

I always go back to Australia but I got the ‘in the mood’ candle and that might just be my favourite now - so lush and sensual. love it!

Today I purchased two products from the Strand Arcade store. My experience today was amazing. This was textbook customer service, which was warm and genuine. Amazing space, beautifully curated and welcoming with the scent of Hunter Candles enticing me in. Vianny, the owner has created a unique and eclectic space where she makes and sells her soy candles.

I bought the one candle per month subscription. I received my candle within two days of purchase, it's Australia No. 4, and it arrived it perfect condition. The candle came with a thank you note. It smells wonderful, subtle, and almost floral. It actually reminds me of the Diptique Baies candle. I think the value is very good and I'm looking forward to my next delivery.

Hunter stock some of the most indulgent candles in Sydney. My personal favourite is Angus - oak moss and amber. The scent is deeply rich and balanced so as to make you feel overwhelmed. However with each scent being extremely unique and identifiable, you can be sure to find the perfect gift for for someone or yourself.

The owner is very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend even having a browse in the store as the ambiance is beautiful!

These candles are amazing!!! I have been buying them for at least a year now!! With the ability to recycle and get them refilled helps me justify driving 45mins to an hour for these incredible candles that will fill your house/ room with a gorgeous scent. The staff are always lovely and friendly.

Really beautiful and intricate scents. Today was our first time in the store and the customer service and care were really lovely. Walked out with three from the Grounded range and now are enjoying the subtlety of Eucalyptus Bark, Grapefruit and Olive Leaf… just gorgeous. And delighted to read you do refills!

Great candles and excellent service! I'd ordered online, and the courier service unfortunately lost the parcel - I reached out to Hunter Candles, and they posted a new one free of charge, very generous of them as it wasn't their fault. I love the candles too, great botanical scents without being too overpowering. Would highly recommend and order again.

I have just experienced the most lovely service from Hunter Candles. I accidentally shipped my first candle to the wrong address and Vianney was so kind in their response. I then bought my own candle yesterday and it arrived this morning! So quick, especially at a time when deliveries are taking a long time. It smells delicious and I can't wait to get home tonight to burn it. Well done Hunter Candles, you've got a customer for life in me.

I have been on the Candle a Month subscription for the past 6 months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to receiving it every month. All the scents Vianney has selected have been incredible and have been great to burn while working from home. She always includes a hand written note about the scent which is a really nice touch and you can tell she really cares about her customers and business. My favourites so far have been Australia, Jessica, and the Rhubarb, Carrot and Radish one from the Spring collection! I highly recommend the subscription!

Outstanding customer service. My order arrived damaged and they sent me a replacement order in record time. The responsiveness to my issue was very much appreciated and it won't be the last time I order from them.The scents of the candles and room sprays are unique. They evoke the Australian bush and are a welcome change from the predictability of other brands on offer.

I have purchased both the Hunter candles and haze sprays several times now and needless to say I am addicted! The scents are absolutely beautiful, they are all so unique, intriguing and inviting and I can't recommend them enough. They also make for wonderful gifts as you can put your own custom name on the label. My friends and family on the receiving end have been blown away by this. I've been buying Hunter Candles for a few years now and can't get enough of them! They are beautiful and perfect gifts... For friends, family, colleagues, your home or yourself. The smells are amazing and so varied, you are sure to find a scent (or many!) to suit your preference or needs. The candles last for a long time, and provide a lovely smell around the home, even when they're not lit. The team at Hunter Candles are also so friendly and helpful. I was first introduced to these candles through my Barre studio who stocks them and knew I had to visit the store! Vianney was extremely helpful when I asked for recommendations for a gift and was happy to spend her time to show me options.
