Beautiful, clean school. Big Open area for the students. The uniforms are nice and tidy. No bullying is tolerated here. The students are very polite especially the school captains. The Year 10’s are really welcoming to the Year 7’s for peer support. The Year 7, Year is very organised and fun. I recently moved my child from Caroline Chisholm because she was constantly crying after school with the amount of homework and stress put on her shoulders. Xavier has the perfect amount of homework for each Year level and zero stress for the children. Lovely school. Please send your children there. It’s for the better

I am enjoying the environment here, regardless of if that is the way we can actually listen to music during learning, which I have found to calm me down and help me focus, or the way the teachers seem to be fairly reasonable with the students

I moved here from St Dominic's College, and when I tell you i didn't have nearly as much fun at Doms, moving here has had a good impact on my over-all view of life, it was definitely a refresher moving here, after being in what feels like such a rough environment.

Came here, to realise the enjoyment, of primary school friends also being here, and in all forms of honesty, making friends here won't be much of an issue, moved here, had my primary friend group, and now i have another 9 friends.

So if you are looking for a calmer environment for your kids, would recommend,

This is from term 1s experience, will edit at the end of term 2 :)
************* (January - July)

After the year I had finished, I left to TAFE , over-all it was a good experience in Xavier, although the method of teaching wasn't probably as strict or eye's on as it should have been, sometimes I was looking at my phone or zoned off and I would be left that for the remaining time of the period, they did let students listen to music (Some of the teachers atleast) which did help I and some others learn (By the seems of things) , the environment is pretty nice , and the grounds are clean , same can be said for uniformity, the PE classes and periods are fairly rounded off and everyone is treated fair and as they have done during the session.

Given that I was always appreciated for my attempts and when I and others gave even a small contribution they were treated with the up-most respect, The teachers seem to actually care for the students and how they speak to each other, fighting or other actions are treated as should be done, I would recommend it as it is just all-round an inclusive and fun community,

I would also like to point out I learnt more here than I did at Doms.

I have found Xavier College to be wonderful in the way they are continually helping our Grandaughterthough these last six years they have gone out of their way to help her through bullying and her learning difficulties. Thank you so much for caring. Joy lauer.

some teachers would actually help you but many didn't and said that you need to ask for help but when you did they still wouldn't help the bullying problems are bad as well they always talking about anti-bullying but in reality did nothing about it.

Some teachers cared about students, others didn’t. The school had poor conflict management. It was clear that how the students represented the school was more important then the education provided to the students. A small number of teachers went above and beyond to adjust learning to the needs of students. A big culture on expecting the young person to act like an adult while treating them as a child.

During math, I got a question wrong on my exam. The teacher saw, and I ran due to the fear I had felt, I couldn't explain to you how much trouble I was in with all of my classmates watching! I ran down the hallway... the stairs... even heading down to the other building... Yet that exact math teacher could never be escaped from no matter what, I've NEVER seen anything like her before... She... SHE HAD POWERS. She was like an immortal, powerful "human". No matter how far I travelled across the school, I wasn't able to run away from her in time, she was so strict, she started teleporting to me... From her purse, she pulled out a metal ruler and started WHACKING ME ON THE HEAD.. I will forever be traumatised from this.
Slowly after that, the principal along with other teachers had teleported to me as well, and started beating me to death right until home time. When my mum came to pick me up during home time, she laughed at me and saw how miserable I looked, taking a photo so she can post me on her facebook account. Thank you xavier college, YOU HAVE RUINED MY LIFE.

This school was the cause of majority of my mental health issues. Teachers stood by as I was bullied in front of them. They care more about how you wear your uniform then your education or health. There are a few good teachers there, but it is only a matter of time they get fired for being too kind to the students.
