When I first met Dr Herath I was in a desperate situation with very low lung capacity. Before looking at any surgery options she introduced me to Dr Paul Mason a metabolic specialist to help me manage my weight. This approach taken by Dr Herath to not dive into drugs or surgery has seen me loose 1kg per week for the last 12 weeks and I am now not taking any medication for high blood pressure or asthma . I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone wanting better respiratory health for life.

Dr Herath was highly professional and caring. Friendly and efficient reception staff. I’ve found Dr Herath to be personable and professional. She has been happy to answer questions, explain treatments and work with surgeons, coordinating follow up and scans.

The meetings and treatment I received were professional and she was able to successfully diagnose my issues and provide a treatment that has seen my health return to being normal. I had a very pleasant experience at Sydney Respiratory Specialist when I consulted Dr Herath for my Brochiectasis/Asthma. She was kind and professional and very skilled in addressing my long standing issues. Her suite has facilities for lung function tests onsite and she also organised for a consultation with a pulmonary physiotherapist for me at her suite. She also had sleep testing available onsite. The staff were lovely with a caring attitude and I would definitely recommend Dr. Herath for anyone with respiratory issues.
